StrangeSox
QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 9, 2016 -> 02:35 PM) Honestly her mocking him with humor is a good strategy. Neutering him on his own "home turf" is great. Whatever 20-something intern tweeted that needs an instant promotion. We've also got Trollbama entering Campaign Obama form, his strongest form, and Biden's on deck too. Soxbadger
QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 9, 2016 -> 02:12 AM) I would like an honest answer from you folks. My question, "Was Bernie treated fairly this primary season? Or was he robbed?" My answer to you is he was robbed. CNN declared Hillary the winner before the California primary which is bulls*** considering it cost him California. Why go vote if it's been decided? Also, he's not a fricking socialist, he's a Democratic socialist. We already have socialist aspects to society. He just wants more: free college education, free health care, etc. He is not the lunatic fringe nut the media portrayed him to be. And finally, he was robbed because of the Democrat's ridiculous superdelegate system. All the people Hillary has catered to rewarded her with their support. Of all the great women out there I can't believe she gets the honor of being first female president. My gosh, if the government was more aggressive, the woman LIKELY would be in prison for what she did compared to others who have breached security in government positions. I don't blame Bernie for not quitting. Be Hillary's pest. Bernie lost. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Its the same as in sports. How loud your fans scream, doesnt change the score of the game. CNN has no obligation to Sanders. The story they posted is a fact. Sanders attitude right now is the exact reason why he had no chance at being the Democratic nominee, he couldnt be counted on to be a good team player. Its the same reason why there are rifts about Trump as the Republican nominee.

StrangeSox
USA TODAY exclusive: Hundreds allege Donald Trump doesn’t pay his bills At least 60 lawsuits, along with hundreds of liens, judgments, and other government filings reviewed by the USA TODAY NETWORK, document people who have accused Trump and his businesses of failing to pay them for their work. Among them: a dishwasher in Florida. A glass company in New Jersey. A carpet company. A plumber. Painters. Forty-eight waiters. Dozens of bartenders and other hourly workers at his resorts and clubs, coast to coast. Real estate brokers who sold his properties. And, ironically, several law firms that once represented him in these suits and others. Trump’s companies have also been cited for 24 violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act since 2005 for failing to pay overtime or minimum wage, according to U.S. Department of Labor data. That includes 21 citations against the defunct Trump Plaza in Atlantic City and three against the also out-of-business Trump Mortgage LLC in New York. Both cases were resolved by the companies agreeing to pay back wages. In addition to the lawsuits, the review found more than 200 mechanic’s liens — filed by contractors and employees against Trump, his companies or his properties claiming they were owed money for their work — since the 1980s. The liens range from a $75,000 claim by a Plainview, N.Y., air conditioning and heating company to a $1 million claim from the president of a New York City real estate banking firm. On just one project, Trump’s Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City, records released by the New Jersey Casino Control Commission in 1990 show that at least 253 subcontractors weren’t paid in full or on time, including workers who installed walls, chandeliers and plumbing. Sanders attitude right now is the exact reason why he had no chance at being the Democratic nominee, he couldnt be counted on to be a good team player. Its the same reason why there are rifts about Trump as the Republican nominee. Sanders attitude right now seems fine to me. He's all but ended his campaign, just carrying through the next and final primary on Tuesday, and has clearly said that preventing Trump from becoming President is his number one priority and that he'll work with Clinton to do so. He'll endorse Clinton openly in due time, he'll speak at the convention, and he'll rally his supporters to GOTV for Clinton to keep Trump out of the WH. The tone of his campaign the past month or so was off-putting, but I'm confident that's come to an end and he'll be another asset come November. StrangeSox
QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Jun 9, 2016 -> 03:13 PM) What makes you think that? Sanders owes nothing to the Democratic party. His own statements after meeting with Obama? He'll get influence on the party platform thanks to the large number of delegates he's collected, and that gives him influence with his Democratic colleagues in the Senate for committee appointments. Sanders owes any appointment he holds in the Senate to the Democrats. I think Sanders is also aware how terrible a Trump presidency (and court appointments) would be for his own policy preferences, and that a fractured Democratic party won't stand a chance of taking back the Senate and thus weakens his own power. greg775
Why in the hell should Bernie Sanders quit now when Hillary Clinton SHOULD and probably will be indicted and NEVER be allowed to run? Hillary is showing naivety thinking her privilege as Wall Street's favorite speaker (her speeches are so damn good she deserves that $250,000) that she thinks she's immune to prosecution?? This is gonna get interesting. hang in there Bernie. Read this!! p.s. Why don't any of you Hillary supporters care about this stuff?? She may be our most despicable candidate EVER. Before you say that is mean or cruel or worthy of banning me, folks she is this close to being in jail for gosh sakes! http://www.huffingtonpost.com/h-a-goodman/...b_10354484.html Edited June 9, 2016 by greg775

Why do some of you not care about the email thing at all?? It's not going to go away and hopefully the FBI isn't getting paid off and will do the right thing. My gosh if this was you or me f***ing with the nation's security, we'd be thrown in jail with them throwing away the key. The media refuses to cover the Huffington Post story (so far). That's not a "story," it's the ramblings of an idiot/someone posting clickbait garbage. This criticizing the messenger stuff doesn't cut it. I hope Bernie hangs in there and waits for possible FBI indictment of Hillary. Everybody is worried Trump's election would lead to him being the crazy guy in charge of the nukes. What about Hillary? If we as a country refuse to try her on charges of breaching the nation's security, we are committing the biggest act of treason possible. You can't let people off the hook just because they want to be President. If she's guilty she does not deserve the nation's highest office. And so many Americans for some reason don't care at all to get to the bottom of this.

StrangeSox
That response was the equivalent of "yeah, well the jerk store called, and they're all out of you!" Tweets have timestamps. Check how long her response took versus that weak sauce. Trump bragging about having no campaign infrastructure is also a weird thing that will help doom him in November.
