greg775
Trouble for Hillary (I hope): Didn't want to put in Republican thread even though Caufield started it in there. ... She needs to just go away. And by saying that it doesn't mean I support Trump. I just don't want a so obvious wheeler and dealer, entitled person like Hillary in the White House. A meeting on a plane??? With the AG? Cmon Hillary supporters, explain this one. Oh I know ... it was nothing. They wanted to chat about their grandkids. Yeah in a public airport on a fricking plane. I'm sure that didn't inconvenience anybody as they chuckled about getting Hillary off scot free in the email case. Crooked politics!! https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/loretta-...-101500028.html

caulfield12
Even the Republicans, at this point, probably just want Trump to go away, the election to be over and the bleeding at the House/Senate level contained. Mexican planes attacking him? Really? At this point, I'm not even sure the John Birch Society would accept him for a membership.

Why? That's the Republican thread? It's a Democratic problem (I mean it should be if not swept under the rug, I mean the tarmac). This meeting with Bill Clinton is one of the sleaziest things I've ever heard of. My gosh. Of course Republicans wish Trump would go away. I've yet to meet a real Trump supporter. Most kind of like his attitude of being non P.C., but it's not like he's turning the PC world around with his brashness. People are still getting in trouble for saying PC stuff all the time. Like nobody dared criticize that guy at the BET awards for hijacking the show ripping whites. Edited July 2, 2016 by greg775

Like nobody dared criticize that guy at the BET awards for hijacking the show ripping whites. “We’ve been floating this country on credit for centuries, yo, and we’re done watching and waiting while this invention called whiteness uses and abuses us, burying black people out of sight and out of mind while extracting our culture, our dollars, our entertainment like oil, black gold, ghettoizing and demeaning our creations, then stealing them, gentrifying our genius and then trying us on like costumes before discarding our bodies like rinds of strange fruit. The thing is, though, just because we’re magic doesn’t mean we’re not real.” You disagree with what he said here? The language is a bit much, but it was meant to be hyperbolic and provocative. And it's not really "white people" per se as he's attacking the "establishment," which often is perceived by blacks to be comprised of predominantly white (and often Jewish) members. Notice he mentions "whiteness" and implies "blackness," not specifically a group of people but a social and cultural construct. I'm not so sure you want to be on the same side as Stacey Dash. Is he simply claiming a bad artist? A lot of anti-Semitism revolves around conspiracies of Jews controlling everything behind the scenes with their money. Now here's a graphic about Hillary Clinton being controlled by other people and their money...coincidentally involving a shape famous to Judaism. caulfield12
Or having a pagan pentagram on an ad attacking Obama SUPPOSEDLY being non-Christian...or, more likely, some type of Muslim symbol like a crescent while questioning his "true" religious affiliation/sympathies. StrangeSox
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 3, 2016 -> 03:27 PM) It's fascinating that they're actually trying to run with the "sheriff badge" excuse even after people found the original source eta his press release, come on man we know where it came from, the guy who made it had plenty of explicitly antisemitic images, this isn't a "sherrif's star" They chose the dumbest possible way to respond to this and will never let go, which I guess is pretty routine for this campaign at this point. eta2 in case anyone had any question on what the original intent behind the star was, the same guy who originally made it also made this one: and another one with the same star on a "Bernie Sanders" ice cream. There's zero question what the original intent was. The more interesting questions here are how did Trump's campaign come across this in the first place, is there so little control/awareness in the campaign that nobody took a second look at the image, and why are they insisting on the dumbest possible response? I think the situation is that they are a bunch of sycophants that only respond to positive feedback, and their social media is full of alt rights, white supremecists and anti-semites and they do not question what they are seeing because they are telling their campaign that they are right, and since they are right, what could be wrong with these tweets??????? StrangeSox
Comey: 110 classified emails sent on Clinton's server, staff/aides 'extremely careless', but no recommendation for criminal indictment. That was really the last thing that could have posed a legitimate threat to her campaign imo.
bmags
It's kind of a shame that the Orlando 911 calls and this whole thing came and went and there never is any momentum for re evaluating our bulls*** classification system. But, as has long been stated, it was obvious using General Petraeus as a benchmark that nothing would come of this. He actually knowingly gave confidential information to his mistress and received a slap on the wrist.

StrangeSox
Clinton exercised poor judgement in setting up the private server in the first place, but they've found no evidence of her intentionally and willfully breaking the law. The people shouting "the system is rigged!" don't actually have to show any proof of their claims, and it's a nice "heads I win, tails you lose" argument where either Clinton got indicted or she didn't and they get to say she absolutely should have and her not getting indicted it proof of corruption.
bmags
She absolutely should have not set up the server. It was not illegal, it was stupid and more of an office regulation issue. Bill also should not have went to go talk to Lynch. It is just classic Clintons.
