The GOP circus continues. Can Kasich come out and steal the thunder?

Kasich will win Ohio, Rubio will lose Florida and drop out tomorrow. Kasich will stay in and earn enough delegates to prevent either of the other two from earning a majority.

The problem then becomes how to convince Trump that him backing Kasich is better than Kasich/Cruz aligning together, because if Trump has 40-48% of the delegates and Kasich and Cruz make any sort of deal without him, you'll lose enough Trump voters in November that it will be impossible to win.

Maybe Trump and Blago can share a cell?

Suspended Congress seems like a fit. Ben Carson: I Didn’t Want To Endorse Trump, But He Promised Me A Position http://tinyurl.com/z8qc7oe

I feel stupid having to ask this, but, are we sure that is really illegal? As no money was changing hands? And a President can appoint whomever they'd like for certain positions? The Blago thing involved money.

I've been saying something like this for a while. I'll do an update on the math tomorrow. But unless Trump runs the table tonight, a contested convention is pretty likely at this point.

Rubio giving what sounds a lot like an "I'm dropping out" speech but he hasn't actually said it yet.

EDIT: OK he said it.

Best speech he's made so far.

Did anyone really think the White Trash rage wouldnt win in Florida? Thats literally ground zero.

Found this on moveon.org:

Trump: "NBC News just called it the great freeze - coldest weather in years. Is our country still spending money on the GLOBAL WARMING HOAX?"

The Truth: This winter was the warmest on record for the contiguous US, says NOAA

Only problem: Trump's quote is from 2014 and the NOAA fact is from 2016. Now, I can't stand Trump and don't agree with his position on climate change, but moveon.org is absolutely repulsive for pulling this. They're being very Trump-like in doing something like this. And nobody is going to convince me that the person pulling that together didn't know what they were doing.

He has no chance to win.

That's very sad because he's the only one left who's neither a disgusting narcissistic liar (Hillary, Trump, and to a lesser extent Cruz) nor so far out ideologically that his plan isn't workable (Cruz, Bernie)

In the past few years I was certain that Rubio was gonna be the Republican Obama, a younger minority candidate that's slowly brought up the ranks and all but handed the nomination on a silver platter. I don't know how he f***ed it up but he did. After the Dems win this year, I wonder if he can re-establish himself in 2020.

He's more of a puppet than Obama. Say what you want about Obama, he is a great public speaker and can think on his feet. Rubio wasn't ready.
