greg775
This really sucks. the Twins are taking advantage of their s*** schedule. We are in deep trouble, folks. That said, never say die.

Bmr31
Good point bmr, but I was hoping they'd lose some of em. Eh, when you get swept by the tigers, its your fault, and thats why ive been b****ing for the past few weeks. We had our chances, we blew it. That 2 game Boston series was just unacceptable. We have ONE more chance and thats to sweep their asses in Minnesota. If not, its very likely over.
greg775
Excellent point again, bmr. Sad isn't it that we are gonna look back on this season and shake our heads that we didn't make the playoffs? It is amazing, really. I think we had the team to beat Minn, do you?? witesoxfan
Me personally, I don't think our season is over is we take 2 of 3 from Minny. Remember, they still have to get back in first place after that. (wouldn't be hard, but they would still have to do it) However, we lose the series, or are swept, and we are done, period. We can't climb up hill from here on out. What we have to do is pass Minnesota and stay in front of them for the rest of the year. What people don't realize is that even though the Indians and Tigers both suck big time, they can still play spoiler(or atleast Cleveland can). I believe about a week ago Tampa won 2 of 3 from Oakland. To me, that shows that Oakland did not go into that series with the right attitude and they got their asses kicked. Now the Tigers don't have as much fight left in them as the DRays do, but I personally think the Indians do. I'll just say ahead of time, don't be surprised if the Indians take 2 of 3 from Minny in the Homer Dome. I didn't say you should count on it though either. YASNY
This would be a great time to build on those last 2 wins in Boston, and put together a double digit win streak. 15 in a row would do it.

All last night means in the grand scheme of things is that the Sox now have a game in hand over the annoying hostess snack cakes from up north. No big deal.
