Y2Jimmy0
Connor McKnight will be the host of Pre and Post and White Sox weekly on WLS for the White Sox. I like the hire. Connor is young and really knows baseball. He's very interactive with the fans and should be a welcome addition. http://www.robertfeder.com/2016/01/11/robs...n-deck-for-wls/
Kyyle23
Iirc he won the Score contest to be an on air talent. He also jumped to the Game which was an unfortunate decision

3GamesToLove
Huh, I had assumed it'd be Rob Hart, since he hosted a few "White Sox Weekly" episodes and has been tweeting a lot about the Sox.
southsider2k5
QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Jan 11, 2016 -> 08:43 AM) Anyone > Chris Rongey I loved Chris when he started, but he went the way of the score and got bitter and knowitall-ish as he was there longer. Hopefully McKnight is a good thing.
knightni
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 11, 2016 -> 09:46 AM) I loved Chris when he started, but he went the way of the score and got bitter and knowitall-ish as he was there longer. Hopefully McKnight is a good thing. If there is a defense to that, Sox fans that called his show were super meatball-ish and it can wear on you. Hatchetman
He's a less talented more Cubfanish version of Chris Rongey off the Dan Bernstein broadcast tree.

NorthSideSox72
Brian Boesch, the Winston-Salem Radio guy, was also up for this job and also hosted twice over the winter as auditions (like McKnight and Hart did).
bmags
I just hope this isn't the guy I'm thinking of. I never listened to Rongey again after he went to bat for Kotsay over Thome. Edited January 11, 2016 by bmags
shipps
The ol Conner McDoink. Wasnt he the one who accidently called Jay Cutler...Jay Podium? Those clips always make me laugh. How does one get their own name wrong?
fathom
Hopefully he's a good fit here. With Hawk taking more time off, I'm not looking forward to hearing Swirsky play a game of 200 Questions every home game with Stoney
