Bmr31
People who think they know everything usually know very little. Another piece of advice for ya. I have to say though, you do provide the majority of the "soap opera" type entertainment on here. Yeah, maybe, but i dont do it for attention. Its natural. You play the part so well. Yeah, I am here for attention with my whole 2 posts per day. You try too hard, bro. Thats all I meant.

If your argument is I try to come across to strong with my humor, same could be said with the way you come across telling everyone how much less they know than you. To each his own. But I understand, you are just playing the role you wish to play in cyberspace. Without your attitude, this place might be boring.
IlliniKrush
I am nervous, just because of that fact are season comes down to these three games, and i have put alot of money in the White Sox this year, and i whould hate for the season to end here. No doubt i'm nervous now, cuz we can't trust Detroit to help us out at all. I say them going 2-5 against Minnesota is about what we should expect. We have to take care of our own business, right now. Series win a must.
Yossarian
Nervous... no Pumped...yes We need at least 2 of 3 and I think we can do it. I hope the team feels the same way you do. That's just the way I'd want them to be, not nervous but ready as hell. The trouble is you never know which Sox team will show up on any given day. Hopefully they want it as much as we do. And yes, two out of three is the minimum acceptable at this point. Expect no favors from that pathetic team in Detroit. You know, the ones that beat us 8 times. Rowand44
I'm as nervous as I've ever been, tonights game is huge, and if we lose this series, we'd have to look to 2004, and I don't want to end this year with out atleast a division title with all this damn talent. Flash Tizzle
Minnesota has to be feeling nervous too. Twins cant believe they can sit back during this series and still win it. And if you think about it, if we're leading after the series Minn. only has more pressure to beat Detroit. If Det. all of the sudden surges against the Twins next week and we do well against KC and NY............it will be like a huge fricken snowball going into the playoffs. I may be the only one in here who believes it, but the tigers WILL do damage against the Twins next week. We just have to get the job done now. We just have to get the job done now. I'm going to hold you to it. I think that you could be right. It would make the Tigers season if they could keep Minnesota out of October after the beating they've received fromt he Twins this year. If they could win 4 of the 7, that would be too great. Steff
How many hours til game time? Too many I just fear what this board will look like if we are trailing 3-0 by the 3rd inning... Ugh.
Pastime
Not nervous at all. I've suffered as a Chicago sports fan for 30 years. If they win - GREAT!!! If they don't - okay. It's the norm. I learned a long time ago to just accept the fate of the Sox. Plus, they don't care if my bills are paid, and if I was homeless and hungry, they wouldn't give a s*** either. So, I rely on the Sox to entertain me. I don't give my heart or soul to ANY sports team. Piss on them. They'll make more money this year than any of us will earn in a lifetime, so I don't care about them one way or another. Like I said, it's ENTERTAINMENT. If they win, GREAT!! If not, OH WELL. My life will continue either way. And I'll still have to pay my bills either way. Always remember one simple thing - IT'S JUST A GAME. Pastime
BMR, Neither you or anyone else can tell me if I'm a real fan or not. I've suffered a hell of a lot worse with this team through the years than you could imagine. Who the hell are you to decide whether I'm a real fan or not? Who made you God? Cram it where the sun don't shine, asshat. I'm more of a die-hard Sox fan than you could be in your best wet dream, pal. I just don't live my life and adjust my moods based on what a SPORTS TEAM does. I actually have a life - and a great one at that. Try it sometime.
