CWSpalehoseCWS
Glad to see the Sox bring him back. Kind of surprised no other team out there wanted to bring him in. He finished strong last season.
SoCalSox
I know this move was lost in the shuffle of CesPAYdeezNUTS but this was actually a very nice move, especially for the price. Bullpen in very good shape.
oldsox
I'm sure Hawk likes it. He loved Albers last year.
Jose Abreu
QUOTE (CWSpalehoseCWS @ Jan 21, 2016 -> 09:06 PM) Glad to see the Sox bring him back. Kind of surprised no other team out there wanted to bring him in. He finished strong last season. I believe the Mets had interest
GreenSox
For goodness sakes there's nothing wrong with depth in the pen. Don't have to immediately start trading and dumping when you may have 1 extra player. Sox may actually take it a little easier on the starters and need these guys. ERA particularly deceptive stat for relievers. Edited January 22, 2016 by GreenSox
blackmooncreeping
The bullpen has quietly been built into a pretty solid unit. I figured Albers was as good as gone after last year, good to see him back in the fold. Even if he regresses a bit, he should still be effective. OmarComing25
Don't forget we also have Tommy Kahnle too, who aside from a brutal week in mid-August was mostly solid the rest of the year.
Bob Sacamano
With 8 games in a row to start the season, I would imagine we see an 8 man bullpen to open the season (3 man bench: catcher, infielder, Shuck) then a roster move the first day off for another bench guy. Y2Jimmy0
QUOTE (blackmooncreeping @ Jan 22, 2016 -> 09:09 AM) The bullpen has quietly been built into a pretty solid unit. They now have Robertson, Jones, Petricka, Putnam, Kahnle, and Albers. They also have Duke, Jennings, and Phillips as far as LHP. Aumont and Turner are wildcards in this as well as some minor league guys and guys that will be NRI's. Pretty deep bullpen.
