Jose Abreu
To be fair, this was Arrieta's second straight year of Cy Young level pitching. Not his first.

Not his first. Yeah that's what I was thinking. As much as I've been calling Arrieta a fluke for the last 2 years, at this point I think the only thing Arrieta has left to prove is that he didn't wear down his arm with the innings jump last year and that he can still hit 200+IP. Jose Abreu
QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Jan 25, 2016 -> 07:10 PM) He wasn't even a qualified pitcher in 2014. 25 starts is a good enough sample size for me. He did finish top-ten in Cy Young voting, too.
ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jan 25, 2016 -> 08:32 PM) 25 starts is a good enough sample size for me. He did finish top-ten in Cy Young voting, too. 12 of those 25 he failed to record more than 18 outs. Still a great season overall, but he still hasn't been good long enough in my mind to be thought of as better than Sale, Price, Felix, Grienke, Scherzer.
