CWSOX45
Now why can't we put Olivo's arm with Alomars smarts. Olivo belongs in AAA. He couldn't hit a curve ball if he knew it was coming. CWSOX45
sox-r-us
NOW WE BETTER HIT HAWKINS (WHO WE NEVER HIT) GET THIS MIRACLE STARTED RIGHT NOW
elrockinMT
I guess I will stay and suffer the rest of the game. Loaiza not doing it for 2 starts in a row vrs the Twins and the Sox not able to remember the junk the Radke pitches makes you wonder hw charged up these guys are. Is everything tied to the home run again as far as their swings tonight?

Yossarian
I suppose I should have known better but I'm very disappointed. They weren't ready. How can you not be ready? How can you not want it?
winninguglyin83
I Believe Hawkins is a free-agent after this season I predict either Hawkins or Foulke will be the Cubs' closer next season. they need that piece and Dusty will make them Spend the cash to back up that rotation. Bighurt52235
If we don't make the playoffs, I think I'd like the Royals to instead of the Twinks. I hatet thme more than the Cubs and Yanks.

elrockinMT
What gets me with all these flyballs is that we know how the Twinks win in the garbage dump they call home and that's hitting the ball hard off the astroturf, or whatever they have that passes for a baseball field, but we can't seem to follow suit. elrockinMT
A pathetic offensive display by ateam that knows what they have to do, but just never seem to be able to step up against the Twins in Twinkieland.

I believe your right about the FA part, but Hawkins has shown his ability to close before. That's why he lost his job to Everyday Eddy. I think he's better suited for setting up. I could see Foulke on the Cubs though.
Bighurt52235
Somebody please spare me the pain. I'm totally preparing myself for the 9-28 KC game as the last Sox game of the year. I think that way it will be best, and, should the miracle happen, BAM!!! How great.
Flash Tizzle
I dont know why im punishing myself even more, but Im going to tune in to the post game show with Dave Wills. Interested to see if he finally snaps. If he doesnt, im sure the callers will.

JUGGERNAUT
It's time to break up the core: Koney - gone Maggs - trade to Cards for Renteria (3 yrs 18mil left on contract). Lee - lock up - best bat potential on team right now Crede - keep Everett - sign at a low cost RF - bring someone up (Borchy) Colon - lock up - best arm on team right now Garland - lock up - 2nd best arm on team Beurhle - try to lock up E-LO - go 1 yr at a time Alomar - sign him up (both) Thomas - 6mil isn't that bad for 100 RBI DH I think we can afford all that. Colon is a Freak. Don't let him get away. Lee has Bonds potential. Don't let him get away.
Flash Tizzle
Anybody have hope for the next two games? Im willing to ignore this s*** fest if the sox pull the next two out. obviously we needed a sweep but theres no choice left but for us to win the series. What has he done to make you think he can be one of the greatest hitters ever. He looks like he will be an allstar but he hardly looks like a hall of famer. I could see Foulke on the Cubs though. hawkins failed as a closer two or three years ago but he's matured. And he has closer stuff. And if he wants to make big money, he'll have to convince a team to make him a closer. Plus, when he was in Chicago last week, he mentioned that he grew up a Cubs' fan in Gary, Indiana. Sure sounded like a hint to me.
