This happened like 3 weeks ago, and I'm surprised how muted the response has been.

 

Perhaps thats because the real fight hasn't begun for it, but it just seems like a gigantic change to the makeup of the league and changes to status quo usually are met with much more resistance.

 

Any thoughts on this? Pretty good news for bad fielding 1b and free agency.

This was 5 days after that article.
