Pretty excited about the draft.

I'm excited for the off-season as a whole. Bears can do some serious damage if everything breaks right.

Give me Trevethon and Kelechi Osemele in FA. (Malik Jackson would be nice as well but I'm not sure they can get all 3.)

Using This 4 round mock from NFL.com, I would then like..

1. Myles Jack LB UCLA- Jack paired with Trev would give the Bears the same type of dynamic the Broncos had with Trev and Marshall. It would also eliminate what I thought was the biggest hole in the defense, and that's the middle of the 2nd level in the passing game.

2. Adolphus Washington DL OSU- Rock, does he have the strength to play the 5 in a 3-4? He's got good length, and he certainly looked impressive at the senior bowl......This draft has Nkemdiche falling to the 2R. Washington has a red flag as well, but he seems rather mature in the way he's owned up to it.

3. Jalen Mills S/CB LSU- This kid was on point in one on one drills at the senior bowl. He played S last year but has previously played CB. I think the Bears bring Porter back, play Mills at FS, then reevaluate the following year(or after an injury) where they want Mills. I think hes solid at both.

4. Harlan Miller CB SE Lou- Even if the do bring back Porter, CB is paper thin. Fuller, Porter, and Callhoun looked solid at times, but past that there's a lot of suck. Miller is yet another guy who really stood out at the senior bowl.

DL- Washington-Goldman-Ego

LB- McPhee-Jack-Trev-Houston

CB- Fuller-Porter-Callhoun-Miller

S- Amos-Mills.

I like that D.

They'll definitely have enough to spend on all 3 if they want to. They already will have around 58 million in cap space. That's without the likely cuts of Bennett, Bushrod and Rolle. That's another 12 million right there.

Is he the guy who had some, "racial" issues a couple years ago? Wasn't he a TE?

Yep. Wideout (but good size for a wideout). Solid player (nothing special) but I don't know why if I were a GM, with all the potential guys to sign, I'd spend time on Cooper and bring that sort of distraction to my lockeroom.

Jack and Trevathan both would play Jack LB spot under Fangio. I honestly hope the Bears can take Jaylon Smith at 11. He's reportedly going to be back in season and if so would be excellent pick at #11. I think the Bears will trade Bennett and end up with 10-11 draft picks. Some free agents to possibly target: LB Danny Trevathan, DL Malik Jackson, OLB Mike Neal, CB Leonard Johnson, OL Brandon Brooks. I think they get one of the free agent TE's as well: Dwayne Allen or LaDarius Green.

Completely agree about Smith. I was in the group of if Smith is there, you take him no matter what, injury or not. The kid is super talented. You draft him and your LB core is an immediate strength if you can manage to sign Trevathan as well.

Malik Jackson, Kelse Osemele, Dwayne Allen, Trumaine Johnson, Zach Brown, Rodney McCleod, Tashaun Gipson could be targets as well.

NO they didn't. They paid DL Mike Daniels. Mike Neal is an OLB that Bears had interest in last season.

Mike Neal is a nice player. Nothing really special, but offers a little pass rush and can hold the edge.

Is probably going to get way overpaid.

SportsCenter @SportsCenter

Marshawn Lynch's agent confirms the Seahawks RB's plans to retire.

Read a story today that he hasn't spent a penny of his paychecks from playing football. He's saved it all instead, nearly 50 million.

Smith tore that knee out pretty bad, I dont like taking him at that pick to be honest. I think he's going to take a ton of rehab for the ACL and LCL and possible nerve damage.

I really wish I knew more about the 3-4 defense. Hes a pretty prototypical 3 tech in the 4-3, but he started out as a DE and could probably play the 5 quite well. He's quick.
