Chris Sale hasn't even sniffed a playoff appearance with the Sox maybe you'd think he'd be a bit more open to changing some of the clubhouse culture. But no, he's just another one of the Sox that seems to think just because something has been one way for a while it apparently can never change.

These guys really come across as young twentysomethings when in reality both Chris and Eaton are old enough now, in their mid and late 20s, where they should have matured and realized that in the workplace you have to adjust to change.

I agree with your overall point, but in what world was 2012 not close to a playoff appearance?

This just in.

Yoenis Cespedes now wants to sign with the White Sox and join the circus-like atmosphere, feels it's the closest thing to the sheer craziness of NYC and White Sox apparently willing to pay him $30 million and let him wear his cap backwards.

Cites the DeAndre Jordan precedent.

Threads merged for the biggest in SoxTalk history.

Come on man, you know that's way off. It's not about KW, it's about whether or not you should publicly denounce your own boss. It's about dissension within a team.

I think it would be much worse if he was going after Robin. KW is too far removed. A poster yesterday knew an ex player or someone who knew an ex player and he said everyone hated KW. So it's really not a big deal.

All those who want the Sox to trade Chris Sale now will be creaming over him in June if he is leading the league in ERA and strikeouts. It will be like this never happened.

Chris Sale is making me worried that I don't love my son enough.

Someone on twitter said Sale will now quit to coach LaRoche's little league team

It does make me laugh that they're still going around to players asking if anyone had an issue with Drake.

Yeah, that will go nowhere. You have to retire like Dan Haren, and then tweet about it.

If there was ever a time to have a "players only" meeting, it sounds like this will be the time. They need to get it out there, get it over with, and get focused on the next couple weeks before leaving.

@MJ_Baumann There are people in media who believe the guys complaining the loudest may have been the ones who complained.

Wouldn't surprise me.

Something to that effect came out yesterday.

So Sale is now an idiot for firing on KW, something this board does with regularity when a player acquisition doesn't work out.

fans always rip on everybody on a sports team.

I'm wondering if Kenny has too much a presence in the locker room and players don't like that. Kenny does seem to be a control freak in a way

The national narrative on this was the exact opposite. Kenny isn't in there enough, thus he has no idea what is going on. It is literally 180 degrees of where the all controlling Kenny image is on Soxtalk.

Nobody actually WANTS to trade Sale because the odds of coming out ahead are about 1 in 5.

We just want him and Eaton to concentrate on baseball and stop acting like jackasses/spoiled brats.

For all we know, Sale was just waiting for the perfect opportunity to launch a coup in KW's direction, and this situation provided him cover.

Well Sale is complaining the loudest. I don't think KW has it in him to hold back if he was the one who went to him.

Haha I totally agree with this. That would take all-world patience.

I don't know man. Considering Sale and Eaton have been the most vocal and Sale has an autographed Jersey from Drake, I'd say DiCaro is full of s***. She should really stick to reporting for the other Chicago team.

I'm confident he's not the one they're referring to

I don't think he is the one either, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was Eaton. There was buzz about him being trouble in the locker room in Arizona.

I will say Chris Sale was definitely lied to by someone, and it will be interesting to see how he reacts if a players name is revealed that complained.
