IlliniKrush
Yesterday was a train wreck. There's still questions about Loaiza. Well i know it's great to talk about it but it's all done and over with, and we got the loss. Tonight's game is huge, there's no doubt. I never say "this game is the season" about any game, unless it really is the last game of the season or something, but a loss here guarantees a series loss, and the Sox would come out of Minnesota at least 1.5 games out. What can we expect tonight? Is Garland gonna step it up in the Twinkie dome? Can he pitch under this much pressure? How are we gonna handle Rogers? What lineup would you throw out there tonight given the pathetic performance yesterday by the offense? I don't mean to push all of yesterday's game aside, but it's becoming almost too negative considering the season isn't yet over, and there's a huge game in about 4 hours. I'm already excited/nervous about it.
aboz56
In a way, I'm almost glad I have to work tonight. I'll be nervous thinking about the game at work, but at least I'll be able to come home and see what's going on. That'll be much better than the complete smack in the face I got last night watching Loaiza. let's hope Jon has it together tonight.
Al Lopez Ghost (old)
Well, apparently Graff is unavailable, so we have to start Valentin against a lefty. That's usually pretty ugly. I'd catch Sandy. Otherwise it's the usual bunch of suspects. Garland has been very consistent lately. I think we'll handle Rogers ok. I think we win this one. aboz56
Also, if we can survive today, I think we have a good shot with El Goo pitching tomorrow.

southsider2k5
For our own confidence sake, we have got to get to the Gambler early and often. We cannot let the Twins score first, or I would almost guarentee that we lose.

SnB
after seeing last night's game in entirety, i'm glad i'll be at work tonight, and i'll only be able to listen to the game a couple times. That said, if I come home and see that they lost, my faith in this team is shot.

elrockinMT
For our own confidence sake, we have got to get to the Gambler early and often. We cannot let the Twins score first, or I would almost guarentee that we lose. Garland getting them out in the 1st with no runs will probably set the tone of the ball game. If he is sharp you will see it in the 1st inning. We then can concentrate on hitting Rogers junk, if the hitters can remember that they don't all have to hit a homerun every at bat. winninguglyin83
we need two of these three -- Maggs, Frank and Konerko -- to deliver. plain and simple. Another dead zone in the middle of the lineup, packed with the inevitable double plays, and it will be ugly. Rogers and Lohse are guys you HAVE to beat if you expect to win the divison. No excuses
