The problem we have is that we don't have a bench big enough for Panda. It would need to be re-enforced and have a branch of McDonalds next to the bench for Panda to agree the move.

That and the uniform budget would increase dramatically.

"Okay, JR, we can get a uniform for Panda, but either we increase the budget or Sale, Eaton, Jackson, and Rollins aren't getting jerseys."

Sandoval's father was the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and his mother a Teletubby.

Sandoval wears a pool cover for a raincoat.

Sandoval's scale weight looks like a phone number that ends with ' to be continued '.

Sandoval ate Old Country Buffet out of business in one sitting.

Eminor's avatar is actually a portrait of Sandoval smiling.

Almost spit coffee all over my computer there.

The real reason Sandoval has been benched is that he has developed his own gravitational pull, and they fear that the short stop could be pulled out of position during critical plays.

Contract breakdown looks like this:

'16- $17.6M

'17-$17.6M

'18- $18.6M

'19- $18.6M

'20- Option for $17M with $5M buyout

So that's more or less $77M over 4 years. How much would Boston have to eat to get you to bite on Sandoval?

They would have to pay at least $50 million of that and the Sox would have to give up a low level, non-impact prospect(s).

How about the White Sox only pay $13 million for each year and Sandoval is not allowed to bring his son into the clubhouse.

Even if the sox had to pay a dollar, he's a waste of a roster spot.

As bad as he was last year, that is still 25 OPS points better than LaRoche was last year. He wouldn't play a position for the White Sox, but if they were willing to give him to us for basically nothing, you could try him at DH.
