4/9 Game thread: Cleveland, 1:10pm, WGN/WLS

Recommended Posts

Alright time to get rid of the stink from yesterday's game. We got our stopper on the mound and the offense should be hungry after yesterday's embarrassing performance. Team also needs to play smart, heady baseball today. No mental mistakes like getting picked off 1B with a runner on 2nd. And for that, hopefully Avi is given a much earned the day off.

Go Sox!!!

Agree, although if Eaton needs a break Avi pretty much has do be in the lineup.

I do like Jackson batting leadoff in Eaton's absence. He's had some good at-bats so far.

They could always DH him. Isn't that the point of having this rotating DH spot? They also have an off day coming.
