Dick Allen
QUOTE (sin city sox fan @ Apr 14, 2016 -> 02:45 PM) I wonder if Atlanta would be open to a Navarro for Flowers trade if we kicked a prospect in as well. Make it a bigger deal. AJP and Flowers, and Beckham for Navarro, Avila, and either Lawrie or Frasor.

Dick Allen
QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 14, 2016 -> 02:51 PM) Like to know how many times three teams from the same division started the season 6-2 or better the first 8 games. Probably only a few times. Considering it's been 61 years since the Sox and Cubs both started out 2-0, I think you're right.

If used properly he's a stud. It's a good thing Steve Stone never was a GM. If he had Todd Frazier and talked to other teams about trading him, they would think he was someone else. RockRaines
QUOTE (sin city sox fan @ Apr 14, 2016 -> 02:49 PM) Flowers batting average is .137 better than Navarro and he's better defensively. It would clearly be an upgrade for us. No. No, no no.

southsider2k5
QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Apr 14, 2016 -> 02:57 PM) What's that Avi? Lol right down the middle He got outguessed right there. Here is fun with stats. Before that AB, Garcia had gone from a .530 OPS, to one just over .750... in one game. This is why quoting batting averages and such is a silly thing to do in the first week of the season. The more you know...

Jose Abreu
Or Sands. The problem with him is that his defense absolutely bites. That could be an issue in a high-leverage situation, like the 9th inning
