Sweeps are fairly uncommon anyway, but I would have bet soxtalk would have put a 5% or less chance of the sox sweeping the twins to put them at 0-9 during their home opening series. They are defying our expectation in a good way. Let's keep this up. This is the kind of pitching staff I felt like we had, and they are showing it to us. Couple mishaps but that's baseball. Frazier with a great play to seal it! Nice play earlier to get Rosario out on a dumb base running play. Avi starting to hit the ball...and to another planet. Like he said on postgame if he can learn to swing at strikes he still might have a career. What a great play by Frazier. The pitching is great again. Nice to see Robertson pouring strikes in there. Suddenly Robin looks like a great manager. No problem winning in Minnesota's ballpark this time. That's what happens when players perform. It's great to have a nice first two weeks. No reason to think we can't win two of three. Coming back home to face a poor Angels team at 9-3 would be sweet. Maybe Danks shows up in game 2 and we can sweep another one.
