I didn't watch the whole game, but it seemed like Chris almost pitched to contact tonight. Not a ton of deep counts so he was able to keep his pitches down.

His job was simple tonight: go deep because Danks is going tomorrow

Sox have the best record in the AL at the moment. I mean, they just need to play .500 ball from here on out and they'd be right in it. 90 wins has to be the goal after this start. Team defense is amazing so far despite the Rollins error tonight. Pitching we know is gonna be good. Offense has an 2005 vibe except not with HR but with contact and good baserunning.

Awesome pitching performance. I'm not sure how much longer we can win games like this.

All year. The 2005 team won the opener, the first game after the All Star break, and the clincher all 1-0. They will start hitting, but if Latos isn't a mirage, and they stay healthy, this team is going to be tough.

6 over would put them at 84-78. The last wild card in the AL last year was 86-76.

Man, this start to the season is refreshing. Sale (knock on wood, there's no such thing as jinxing somebody BTW) is pitching like Verlander when Verlander was dominant. He looks like one of those guys who is gonna win every night he takes the mound.

I'm getting to the point I don't hate Melky anymore. It's like he knows he can't hit for power so he's gonna be a new Melky. Didn't have to use Robertson tonight. We didn't blow the 1-0 lead late like we would have last year.

Robin looks like he's become a good manager.

Keep it up, Sox. It's not easy to win on the road as teams prove every single year. When u hot u hot; let's stay hot!!! Thank you Mr. Hahn for appearing to improve the team; thank u Robin for becoming a good manager. GO SOX!!
