It looked to me like he slowed down as the ball was coming intentionally to get into the way. I'd have to see it again to be sure.

tough to really say even in slow mo imo. He might have thought it was going into right center field off that hard turf if he just avoided it. As is, I'll take it. Club is making their own luck.

Albers is the quickest fat guy since Robert "Tractor" Trailer. Hey, if you can't be svelte, at least be quick and good at hurling a baseball.

Jose has the best smiles when he does something a bit athletic. Glad to see the big man part of a winning club he'll come around soon.

I'm not sure Lawrie makes that play without a barehand peg and throw on that chopper that ended it. Certainly would have been bang bang. I'll take the automatic out.

Bartolo used to actually be a hell of an athlete too.

Uribe in his prime (and by that I mean when he was still young and "only" 20lbs overweight) was also a very good athlete. He had an absolute cannon for an arm. So many times he'd lazily backhand a ball in the hole and then just rifle a ball to get the guy by a step. Fun guy to watch for a few years.

Now THAT was impressive.

Getting those two out hits was huge.

My goodness even Garcia got two hits!

Loved the fact they nailed the game winner off Floyd.

Guess Gonzales isn't the answer so the Sox need to keep looking for a fifth starter.

Third time this year the Sox have won a game when trailing in the 7th inning or later. That's your stat of the night.

I'm not ready to write off Gonzalez. Will be interesting in July if we can truly stack our team with a fifth starter

Just need to try and minimize the 5th starter spots, as obvious as it seems. A "rotating 5th" might not be the worst idea until late June when the trade market gets a bit clearer.
