Let's feast on this pitching. Rodon keeps getting into his season groove and Sox extend another streak. Let's get 20 boys :gosox2:

Rodon looked better his last start other than a rough 7th. I fully expect him to build off those first six innings and deliver a quality start tonight.

I think Buchholz pitching is a good luck charm.

I like our chances of getting to him, especially with Rodon on the bump.

If Danks had pitched in this game, it probably would have been a high scoring slugfest.

Rodon has that one really, really bad outing that's weighing down his ERA. I think he only managed to get one guy out. The rest of the time he's been pretty good.

They only have like 5 games' worth of a sample, but the Red Sox are last in the AL against LHP by a wide margin.

In other words we shoulda given Danks that start. :D

I'm sure it's purely a coincidence that the Sox' first ESPN game of the season is against Boston.

Incorrect. They played on ESPN in Oakland also on Wednesday Night Baseball.

Avi back today? Hope so. Sands is actually doing OK but his strikeouts last night were downright Aviesque. Avi has been hitting the ball alright so far hopefully he can pick up where he left off before the hammy tweak.

I was happy with Sands in the Baltimore series. Maybe he just can't hit knuckleballers.
