I know baseball doesn't work this way, but I wouldn't even have Sale pitch against Minny. It's sad we have to use a Sale start against that sorry band of losers.

I feel like the Twins always give Sale some trouble

The Twins destroy Sale. I have a bad feeling about this game

But even then, it kind of doesn't matter, right? It's game 30 and this team looks a special kind of bad this year.

Saw this on the postgame show a few weeks ago and wanted to point it out before tonight's game.

Bill Melton was commenting after a Chris Sale game about how he only had trouble with one team last year, the Twins. But here is what I found interesting.

Melton on-air said that he privately told Sale what he was doing wrong and what the Twins were looking for. Melton said he wasn't going to tell everyone what he told Sale but we'll see how he does tonight.

Let's hope for another very good game and a win.

Mark

Twins lineup tonight.

1. Darin Mastroianni, RF ®

2. Eduardo Nunez, SS ®

3. Miguel Sano, DH ®

4. Trevor Plouffe, 3B ®

5. Byung Ho Park, 1B ®

6. Oswaldo Arcia, LF (L)

7. Jorge Polanco, 2B (S)

8. Kurt Suzuki, C ®

9. Danny Santana, CF (S)

SP: Ervin Santana, RHP

Sale lucks out in that Dozier and Mauer are out of the lineup. If he can avoid giving up anything major to Sano, Plouffe, and Park, he should have a good chance at doing well tonight.

I am hoping that Abreu comes out and punishes the Twinkies for their bush league antics last night. He is my PTC tonite

DON'T FORGET TO POST YOUR PICK TO CLICK. INTEREST IS SLOWING DOWN. I KNOW IT FOR CERTAIN THAT THE SOX DO BETTER WHEN FANS SUPPORT THE PTC

A's beat the Orioles

Yankees beat the Red Sox

Tigers lost and are under .500

Royals up 3-0 on the second place Indians

Today has potential to be perfect for the Sox.

Price got hammered again. He is having a rough go of it this year. 4-0 Royals now, feels weird rooting for them, but Cleveland looks like they're the more dangerous team.

Looking like a perfect day so far with the Tigers losing and KC beating CLE and even the Cubs losing their lead...Sox win and they're five games clear of all three ALCD teams.

Hope the positive vibes extend to Sale taking care of business against the Twins after a number of rough outings last year that bloated his ERA.
