Jose Abreu
We tried to give it away- bad defense (especially Sands), bonehead moves (such as bunting on 2 strikes), poor relief pitching by some... still got the W.
bmags
That was the best. I also went from being relieved thinking sac fly to disbelief. Soooo happy!!
chitownsportsfan
avi and todd did some real damage tonight with the bats and good job Gonzo throwing strikes and having decent stuff. Another win in the books. Also clutch AB from Avila. Edited May 10, 2016 by chitownsportsfan

Rowand44
The most important part of this game was Miguel Gonzalez and I almost completely forgot about him because of everything that took place. Love this team.
Bigsoxhurt35
Unsung heroes: Gonzalez and Jennings.

GGajewski18
Great team win. Offense picks up the bullpen tonight. I would love for GreenSox to just say something about Frazier once, just once.
Green Line
This was one of the 60 losses, turned into a W!
Kyyle23
QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ May 9, 2016 -> 11:11 PM) Unsung heroes: Gonzalez and Jennings. Shout out to Bannister for walking Abreu(who was dreadful) to get to Frazier(who was raking) QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ May 9, 2016 -> 11:12 PM) Great team win. Offense picks up the bullpen tonight. I would love for GreenSox to just say something about Frazier once, just once. Oh I'm sure he will say many more things about Frazier, don't you worry
chitownsportsfan
Don't look now, but the Sox now have given up the least runs in the AL and scored the 3rd most. This is a good team folks.
Kalapse
Todd Frazier is on pace for 49 HR and 133 RBI.
Buehrle>Wood
QUOTE (Green Line @ May 9, 2016 -> 11:12 PM) This was one of the 60 losses, turned into a W! Same with the first Miguel Gonzalez start. Had 0 business winning that game or this one. Really stealing some and I love it.
chw42
QUOTE (Kalapse @ May 9, 2016 -> 11:14 PM) Todd Frazier is on pace for 49 HR and 133 RBI. He's gonna hit 35-40 homers, but he's probably not going to hit higher than .250.
chitownsportsfan
Latest inning GS since Sept 30th 1916 from Happy Felsch for the Sox.
chitownsportsfan
QUOTE (Kalapse @ May 10, 2016 -> 12:14 AM) Todd Frazier is on pace for 49 HR and 133 RBI. And like 4 fWAR. It would be a very "three true outcome + defense" 4 WAR year. Joe Crede style really. Edited May 10, 2016 by chitownsportsfan

OmarComing25
QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ May 9, 2016 -> 11:16 PM) And like 4 fWAR. It would be a very "three true outcome + defense" 4 WAR year. Joe Crede style really. I'm starting to sound like a broken record but Frazier is not a three true outcome guy, he doesn't strike out that much. He has a low average because he's hit so many pop ups, not because of strikeouts.
