Since the 1998 season, I've been to five Sox games, all in Chicago. We won one and lost one against Oakland in 2002, we lost two to Detroit in 2005 and John Danks beat the Yanks 7-1 last year.

Excluding an exhibition game in Atlanta in 2010, this will be my first time ever seeing the White Sox in the enemy's ballpark. I am f***ing pumped.

GO SOX!!!!!!!

Yesterday's win was huge. Not just because we won and gained some ground but because of our mindset. It would have been easy to mail it in after blown save 1 and two and chalk it up to "gonna lose games sometime" and "that's just baseball". It seems we understand every game is critical and worth fighting for til the end. That's the mentality of a champion.

This would be a great day for Rodon to keep his release point and get us 7 or 8 quality innings today.

Worst case, they have an off-day on Thursday, which should help rest the pen.

Need Rodon to be sharp today after last night's bullpen marathon.

Would be nice to take this one because I don't trust Latos against this lineup on Wednesday. Hamels is also pitching in that one.

I usually don't root for a rain out, but Friday could be wet in NY. A couple days off for the pen might be to our advantage.

That would be nice. The bullpen could be rested, as well as Sale and Q if they got pushed back a day.

This is what I am waiting for. He needs to trust his stuff and challenge hitters more. I think he is either overthrowing the ball or trying to be to fine or maybe both. The guy has so much talent though

Damn, that's the one game in our next 6 that I could actually watch...

Who are the bullpen pieces we can rely on tonight:

Duke (did he only face 1 batter?)

Albers (because he's a horse/cat and non stressful inning

Carroll - almost guaranteed

Probably resting

Robertson - 1 1/3 innings

Jones - 1 inning

Putnam (he pitched like 22 pitches)

Jennings - 2 innings

So, we at least need 6 innings.

All the more reason I want to see a nice gem out of Rodon tonight.

Carroll should be able to go more than one inning.

Oh definitely, but if its a close game/we are winning I don't know we want him to.
