Is Rodon really throwing all of his fastballs at 90-92 even in key situations or against their best hitters?

Usually he dials it up into the mid 90's when he really needs a K.

He came out of the delay throwing gas, but that inning looked like the tank was empty. Problem is I saw maybe 2 good sliders the entire night.

He's hitting 93, which should be good enough. It's just that they're in bad locations.

The Rangers are kinda like the Sox before this year.

Minus the fact that they could hit, made the playoffs, have one of the best farm systems in baseball and pushed Toronto to the edge of elimination.

It would be awesome if Rodon doesn't start the 5th.

I'm not a big Carroll fan. And sometimes things turn around for a pitcher in a baseball game. His pitch count is low.

The Rangers manager reminds me of Tywin Lannister from Game of Thrones

He's intense. In person, he's like a general or military leader...always in charge.

But he's gone through cancer, a crazy minor league career in which he fought just to get one hit in the big leagues off Dan Petry (Dish)...he's just really standup and admirable.

I knew back in 1995 he was going to be a big league manager someday, surprised it took him 20 years (and it required the revolution of "pitch frame" and "infield shifting" with the Pirates/Hurdle to get some attention and job interviews.)

His favorite restaurant is Hooters in Augusta, lol. But a great family man...cool wife, has got it all.
