5/11 - White Sox @ Rangers

Recommended Posts

Honeymoon is over, folks. Pen has been train wreck. D spotty. Two relays left in pockets Friday. Rollins error then bloop fly drop. AJax drop. Eaton missing cut off. Teams stealing at will against Latos. No throws on 2/4 today.

2 in a row with two days to marinate on it. We need two starting pitchers, not one. Latos is cooked. Thanks for your 5 wins now move along.

Did you jump back on board after the Baltimore losses or something? Jump back out of the wagon please.

Bullpen usage tends to suck when everyone you put in craps the bed. Would love to see your master plan.

Last night was somewhat excusable because we had two backend guys we just couldn't use (Jones and DRob). Today? Not so much....you run Putnam, Jones, Robertson out for 1ip each and you live with the result.

Did you think we were going to keep winning at basically a .700 clip? Get real

I wouldn't have started Latos this inning like I said before and wouldn't have left Jennings in to face Beltre after giving up two hits. Putnam should have been used to start the inning and then Jennings if needed

Right. I can take our best getting beat. But if we keep running out low-leverage guys to pitch in high-leverage situations, then the coaching staff needs to be scrutinized.

So fickle. He wasn't going to be Cy Latos. He's a 4era guy. He's going to leave some up in a small park in the summer at the Cell too. Still a decent #5 and fringe #4 pitcher.

Relax on this team. We could still win today. Should have won last night too. Even if we lose 2 in a row we go to a struggling Yankees team with Q and Sale.

Long season. No reason to get upset over an inning or two of Jennings or Carroll. Yeesh.

Agreed totally with this. We pay these guys to perform and when they don't you can't blame the manager.

If you are running them out there for an inning, you have to get through the 6th. No?

So who was going to pitch the other inning then? There were 4 innings left and you only named 3 pitchers.

I wouldn't say Latos is cooked but for sure we shouldn't expect him to be posting a sub 2.5 ERA this year as he was sporting early on. I still think he can be a very serviceable #5, the problem is we need a #3 right now so let's see what is available at the deadline.

Now Jennings is giving hits up. There is no way this game can end with the Sox in the W column. Just has that inevitable feeling.

Yesterday had the inevitable win for us feel - and that didn't happen. Still hope we can squeeze a win out today.

Pen could really use a guy that can go two inning high leverage on occasion. Was really hoping it would be Jones.
