Not blaming Robin for yesterday, but today he was pretty bad. That 6th inning lead is one you absolutely needed to hold on to and he pissed his pants. Oh well, stole 1 even though we should have had at least 2. Rest up and ride your aces in NY

Bunting would have somehow been a worse idea.

Seriously though, we know Sands can't pinch run or play the field well. He should be hitting there or he should be on the team. I'd guess we're about to find out.

Yep he's a waste of a roster space with Avi healthy

Is Sands faster than Abreu? Is Jimmy Rollins faster than Abreu?

Man that was bad. Has Sanchez ever proven to be 1, a contact hitter. Or 2, a good hitter?

No. Pinch run and bunt him over. Give Melky and Lawrie a shot at a simple base hit.

But no.

You're playing for 1 run there and have solid contact hitters coming up in Melky and Lawrie. Sanchez is an easy out I am bunting him there every time.

I really didn't understand Sanchez hitting.

Sox should have swept. 2 run lead in each game. Bullpen was horrendous.

Yup that's what hurts. We were up in every game and offense scored a plethora of runs. Yet here we are, 1-2.

Either team could have swept or been swept. 6 games into the season vs. the playoff team Rangers, sox are 4-2, and could be 6-0.

Now lets rest, rest, rest and regain form against the yanks.

Some very strange decision-making in both of these games by the coaching staff.

And, with Latos' ERA ballooning by the start, Hahn better be on the market for at least one more serviceable veteran because you're not going to get through the rest of the season without any more problems between him, Rodon and Miguel Gonzalez.
