OmarComing25
Welp, at least we got one, right? Take 2/3 from the Yankees and come home 25-13.

soxforlife05
It's kind of surprising that Robin was a pro but is just so bad at managing in-game. Just no feel for the game and no feel for a pitcher's stuff whatsoever. Edited May 11, 2016 by soxforlife05

Buehrle>Wood
Bunting would have somehow been a worse idea. Seriously though, we know Sands can't pinch run or play the field well. He should be hitting there or he should be on the team. I'd guess we're about to find out.
TheTruth05
Not blaming Robin for yesterday, but today he was pretty bad. That 6th inning lead is one you absolutely needed to hold on to and he pissed his pants. Oh well, stole 1 even though we should have had at least 2. Rest up and ride your aces in NY

ronkark
Is Sands faster than Abreu? Is Jimmy Rollins faster than Abreu? Man that was bad. Has Sanchez ever proven to be 1, a contact hitter. Or 2, a good hitter? No. Pinch run and bunt him over. Give Melky and Lawrie a shot at a simple base hit. But no.
soxforlife05
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ May 11, 2016 -> 04:17 PM) Bunting would have somehow been a worse idea. Seriously though, we know Sands can't pinch run or play the field well. He should be hitting there or he should be on the team. I'd guess we're about to find out. You're playing for 1 run there and have solid contact hitters coming up in Melky and Lawrie. Sanchez is an easy out I am bunting him there every time. We were up in every game and offense scored a plethora of runs. Yet here we are, 1-2.
SoCalSox
Might be lucky to get all 3 in this weekend in NY. Forecast not looking good for Friday or Saturday.
ChiSoxFanMike
Anything less than 2/3 in New York with Sale and Q pitching would be disappointing. The Sox typically lose 2 and then win 3 lately, so they should sweep if they keep up the recent trends.

Yet here we are, 1-2. Either team could have swept or been swept. 6 games into the season vs. the playoff team Rangers, sox are 4-2, and could be 6-0. Now lets rest, rest, rest and regain form against the yanks.

caulfield12
Some very strange decision-making in both of these games by the coaching staff. And, with Latos' ERA ballooning by the start, Hahn better be on the market for at least one more serviceable veteran because you're not going to get through the rest of the season without any more problems between him, Rodon and Miguel Gonzalez.
