Buehrle>Wood
Weird claim. He was worse than I thought. No biggie.
YouCanPutItOnTheBoardYES!
I'll always have that 9 or 10 pitch at bat of his that led to a walk a couple days ago in my memory bank. What a man. What a player. What a legend. Sad to see him go.

southsider2k5
Dan Hayes @CSNHayes 39m39 minutes ago LRT White Sox had hoped Hector Sanchez would clear waivers and go to Charlotte. They liked having him as catching depth.
hogan873
QUOTE (raBBit @ May 12, 2016 -> 11:29 AM) The catching depth is in shambles right now. Is that going to a consideration at the deadline? Or more realistically come draft time? If Avila or Navarro don't get hurt, it won't be a concern, but Avila's already been hurt and neither guy is that young. Buehrle>Wood
Both guys are capable of being full time catchers in what's already a thin market. Can't imagine that being a target come the trade deadline. And I think our depth will be fine as long as Smith comes back healthy. Sanchez was our 4th string catcher, it's not often you have to go to that. Avila tends to get injured from a strong gust of wind but I think we will be fine. Dick Allen
Worst case scenario they could trade a lower level long shot prospect for Flowers.

Bob Sacamano
Meh. He was our 4th catcher. I'm sure we'll sign someone else to a minor league deal to replace him at Charlotte.
