YouCanPutItOnTheBoardYES!
QUOTE (SoCalSox @ May 13, 2016 -> 07:03 AM) Looking at the weather for tonight & tomorrow, I wouldn't be surprised if one of them gets rained out. I wouldn't mind that. Gonzalez in Yankee Stadium isn't ideal. I'd much rather have him face the Astros at the Cell.
flavum
The forecast for tonight looks good once the rain stops. They should play all three games uninterrupted after the first pitch is thrown. Edited May 13, 2016 by flavum
flavum
Have to think Ynoa is getting called up, unless they're throwing Turner or Volstad in the pen now. Goldberg threw two innings yesterday, so if it were him, he probably wouldn't have done that.

caulfield12
Ynoa's control is about as predictable as Miguel Cleto's...well, maybe not THAT bad. But I wouldn't bet on it being Ynoa. Too inexperienced.
flavum
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 13, 2016 -> 08:11 AM) Ynoa's control is about as predictable as Miguel Cleto's...well, maybe not THAT bad. But I wouldn't bet on it being Ynoa. Too inexperienced. I hope you're right. Looking at boxscores some nights, he blows games left and right. I'd be down for one of the Charlotte starters being in the pen and put up some innings when Rodon and Gonzalez have short outings. The "good pen" guys- Albers, Duke, Jones, Putnam- have to be protected more. And now that Ranaudo is there, maybe he's starting again. Buehrle>Wood
I think it's just Webb. His 15 days is up today which is why they wouldn't have been able to announce anything yesterday.

Lip Man 1
Huge mismatch pitching wise tonight. Let's hope it stays that way and something strange doesn't happen during the game itself. Mark
Buehrle>Wood
Sportscenter just did a good segment on the Sox success. Kicked it off with a lame Laroche segment but Kurkijan put that to bed. Have to imagine ESPN doing a longer segment on the Sox the same day they kickoff a series vs the Yankees isn't a coincidence, but I'll take it. I'm calling an Abreu opposite field bomb today. That wall is so close in right field that a good fly out might get over.

Dick Allen
Dan Plesac in the booth this weekend for Steve, correct? It seems Stone gets a weekend off each half. Usually he picks crappy cities for his time off. I guess the day off before and after were the motivation for this one.
