OmarComing25
QUOTE (chw42 @ May 13, 2016 -> 06:52 PM) Chris is getting hit around a little bit right now. Lots of solid contact so far. I wouldn't call that last hit solid contact. But I agree. Edited May 13, 2016 by OmarComing25
Ducksnort
Hawk can stop saying Kansas city special now. Pretty sure KC isn't getting many of those this year so far.
chw42
QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ May 13, 2016 -> 06:53 PM) I wouldn't call that last hit solid contact. The Gardner one? Yeah not that one, but Headley's HR, Teixeira's fly out, and the leadoff single were all squared up.

He Gawn
It's time to stop worrying about Avila's bat. Edited May 14, 2016 by He Gawn
OmarComing25
Yankees used their bullpen a lot against the Royals. Nice to see Severino already at 70 pitches.
chw42
QUOTE (He Gawn @ May 13, 2016 -> 07:02 PM) It's time to stop worrying about Avila's bat. He probably won't hit higher than .250, but he's got great discipline. He'll get on at a .330-.340 clip.
Boopa1219
QUOTE (chw42 @ May 13, 2016 -> 06:46 PM) You want good contact out of the 2 spot, Sox don't exactly have a ton of those guys. I'd say Lawrie or AJax can both work better. Lawrie Ks a bit too much for my liking in that spot, but he's been hitting pretty damn well so far. I'm much more confident in his ability to hit a fastball right down the pipe than Rollins. Abreu is the best option to bat second. chw42
Jimmy needs to stop with his little leg lift in his pre-load. It's making him late on fastballs in the zone. I know he had issues rolling over early in the season, but there's some guys you shouldn't wait on against. Severino's one of them.
