Sox need to swing at everything up and watch everything low. Anything low is gonna be a groundout with his sinkers and curveballs. Those high changeups, like what Abreu hit, high sinkers and high fastballs are what they should be looking for in my opinion. Everything else, leave it be.

I have the feeling there will be some more scoring to be had but I have to wonder, have the Sox hitters read the scouting report on Keuchel? A lot of batters working the counts & swinging at the low stuff. He's been hurt the most early in the count, especially first pitch.

Easier said than done, Scooter.

Dreaded "hangover" game effect.

4 blown saves last week and Frazier out of the line-up, offense might be hard to come up with even against Keuchel.

Looking at that line-up, it feels like the 2012-14 all over again.

And the defense just hasn't been as sharp, even though some of these plays aren't turning into errors (see Sands in LF a week ago)...Jackson, Eaton, etc.

Not playing terribly, have been in every game, but playing just poorly enough compared to the season's earlier standards to lose these games.

Good thing we have a little bit of a cushion huh? This team was do to go in a little bit of a funk. Even in our 2-4 week we had a shot to win them all. We didn't get our asses kicked or anything.

Austin Jackson has not been near the defensive player some made him out to be. That error was brutal.

Uh...what did people make him out to be? He was pretty much dead average.
