maxjusttyped
http://mlbfarm.com/index.php?team=CWS Another day at the office for Tim Anderson. 2-4, no K's, and a steal. Danish also got roughed up a little bit.
GGajewski18
Davidson also 2-4. Could be a decent trade chip at the deadline. Edit: Delmonico is destroying AA in a pitchers ballpark. Call him up to AAA. Edited May 20, 2016 by SoxPride18
caulfield12
Davidson, Sanchez, Erik Johnson will get...maybe...a useful reliever. Which still could be quite helpful. Delmonico's the interesting one, even moreso than Hayes, IMO (of the second/third tier guys). Edited May 20, 2016 by caulfield12
ChiliIrishHammock24
Zangari hit a HR and he didn't even strike out! Yay! Also walked His 7th HR, a career high for him. He hit 6 last year in 212 AB. He now has 7 in 157 AB. He also has 14 BB now. He had 11 last year.
SoxAce
Zavala with a big night. Would be nice to have at least one legit catching prospect to follow before the draft.
Marky Mark
I really want to see Eddy Alvarez get it going. It feels shocking to see him do so poorly after dominating so much in his past seasons.
Bob Sacamano
QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ May 19, 2016 -> 09:10 PM) Davidson also 2-4. Could be a decent trade chip at the deadline. Edit: Delmonico is destroying AA in a pitchers ballpark. Call him up to AAA. Agree. Let him replace Ishikawa.

Dunt
Gotta wonder if Davidson has finally turned that corner. Strikeout rate is awful, but cant ignore that OPS. Still think he deserves a shot.
Dunt
Jesus, just looked at Delmonico's numbers, he is absolutely destroying AA. Move him to AAA immediately.

Move him to AAA immediately. In a pitcher's ballpark too. This kid could have a future.
flavum
QUOTE (Dunt @ May 20, 2016 -> 10:52 AM) Jesus, just looked at Delmonico's numbers, he is absolutely destroying AA. Move him to AAA immediately. Age 23 season too...maybe it's because of the sketchy past that we kinda put him off to the side a little, but that's legit prospect numbers. NorthSideSox72
QUOTE (flavum @ May 20, 2016 -> 11:24 AM) Age 23 season too...maybe it's because of the sketchy past that we kinda put him off to the side a little, but that's legit prospect numbers. FS ranked him in the T30 last midseason (like 28th or something I think), based on potential. Might have been a little higher except he stayed over in Extended and didn't come out of the gate well in AA. Then he kind of was just blah offensively the rest of last year at AA (although he was young for the level), missed some time to minor injuries, and defensive reports at third were mixed. So he dropped out of our T30 in January, though he was still in that just-missed area. Now that he's shown he can hit in AA, the questions are about position. If he can still handle 3B, he's got some real potential. As a 1B, he'd need to be awfully good with the bat.
caulfield12
The only question right now is whether he has the potential to be better than Avisail Garcia as a DH, at least as a platoon partner? Would he be better than Hayes, who's more advanced but also older and has less of a prospect pedigree (thus, will need to be even more convincing to get an opportunity)...or Sands/Shuck? Probably not THIS season, but looking more towards the future. His splits are almost even against LHP/RHP and home/away. Longer term, they have to decide whether to make an attempt to extend Frazier or whether Trey M. or Delmonico could hold down the position. One would think seeing the difference between Conor Gillaspie at 3B and Frazier would make them think first about defensive competence, then offensive ability. NorthSideSox72
Delmonico played mostly 3B last year mostly 1B or DH this year, but that's more about Michalczewski being at third than anything else I think.
Quin
QUOTE (Markbilliards @ May 19, 2016 -> 11:58 PM) I really want to see Eddy Alvarez get it going. NorthSideSox72
QUOTE (Quinarvy @ May 20, 2016 -> 01:50 PM) He's not striking out, so I feel like his average will start going up soon A few numbers to consider on Alvarez... April: .145/.241/.174, 11.3% BB/PA, 20.0% K/PA May: .261/.311/.319, 6.5% BB/PA, 12.9% K/PA So first, his hitting is trending the right direction, as is the ISO, and the contact rate in May is more in line with his career averages (or even better). Although the walks have dropped. Second, his BABIP so far in 2016 is .248. It was .350 or higher in every other stint he's had. Especially with his speed, that number should go up, especially since he's clearly now making much better contact. Third, his ISO's were .130+ in 2014 and 2015, as opposed to .043 now. That could indicate not as much loud contact, but also he's playing in a pitcher's park and I doubt he's lost any power or bat speed, so that probably goes up too. Basically, there are all manner of reasons to believe he bounces back.
