elrockinMT
Let them score first. Not a good sign for a team like the Sox mired in a slump
ScootsMcGoots
They have got to get Ventura now before he starts to settle in. They need to be patient early, especially seeing Ventura was a little erratic in the 1st. Edited May 22, 2016 by Scoots

fathom
Just seems like a lineup where every other hitter should be batting 9th in an average lineup. Instead they are batting 5th or 7th

BigSqwert
QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ May 22, 2016 -> 10:35 AM) This dead ass team could use a brawl. I don't think a brawl magically makes your team more talented. We're more than a handful of pieces away from being a legit contender.
ScootsMcGoots
It would be nice seeing a multi-run homer by the Sox in this game, or a couple solo shots.
fathom
QUOTE (Soxfest @ May 22, 2016 -> 07:40 PM) Lineup with Sanchez and Sands not going to score. Sanchez strikes out so much for someone with no power. He is just not a big league hitter. He's the offensive version of Erik Johnson.
ronkark
All we're short is a 4 starter, a 5 starter, a lefty specilist in the pen. An elite set up man. A lefty power hitter. A quality pinch hitter utility player. Power bat off the bench. And prospects that will net anything in a trade. other than that, we're good to go. There are more people in this lineup who can hit a bomb than Frazier. Relying on Melky and Eaton for power is a recipe for failure. Relying on Sands to hit bombs vs a power righty is laughable. This team hasn't hit a homer on this home stand.
