maxjusttyped
http://mlbfarm.com/index.php?team=CWS Jason Coats is continuing to mash. He's up to .317 with lots of walks and power.

Speaking of making adjustments, Zavala seems to have done it.

maxjusttyped
Is there any reason not to swap Coats and Sands at this point?
Chicago White Sox
QUOTE (maxjusttyped @ May 22, 2016 -> 06:10 PM) Is there any reason not to swap Coats and Sands at this point? I'm almost more intrigued by Danny Hayes. I might be ok with swapping out Sands & Sanchez for Hayes & Luery Garcia. I think those moves provide us with a stronger overall bench. BigHurt3515
QUOTE (maxjusttyped @ May 22, 2016 -> 06:10 PM) Is there any reason not to swap Coats and Sands at this point? Can't play 1B? Sands is the back up 1B at this point even though we all know Saladino and Frazier can play it
Bigsoxhurt35
I want Leury up as a late pinch runner. Could be a nice threat to have off the bench like Dyson for KC. I'm ready to get rid of Sands as well.
caulfield12
MLB managers and GM's will almost always go with the "veteran" over someone who has yet to play in the majors...now, if the White Sox were in the same position as 4-5 NL zombie teams, then you could try Hayes, Coats, Delmonico, Davidson, it wouldn't matter in terms of winning and losing. It seems either Hahn or Ventura...someone really likes having Sands on the roster.
oldsox
QUOTE (maxjusttyped @ May 22, 2016 -> 03:13 PM) http://mlbfarm.com/index.php?team=CWS Jason Coats is continuing to mash. He's up to .317 with lots of walks and power. This is Coats' fourth year in pro ball, and he has hit at every level, obviously improving. I can't see how they can keep him in minors much longer. 2nd_city_saint787
QUOTE (maxjusttyped @ May 22, 2016 -> 06:10 PM) Is there any reason not to swap Coats and Sands at this point? Coats needs to be playing everyday IMO. Unless they pull the plug on Avi, Coats should stay in AAA.
