Who'd you rather see gone after this, Sanchez or Albers?

Neither. Sanchez actually has a place on this team as does Albers.

Why isn't Sanchez at least putting some pressure on the pitcher by taking a couple of pitches?

So that's 8 baserunners left on in the last 3 innings, lol....

Nothing like a slap hitter swinging at 97 high, inside fastball on first pitch

Screw that logic.....Albers has sucked balls his last 4 or 5 outings......should we give him the polite golf clap for another s***ty performance??? SMH

I'm sure booing will help the players play better.

Coop only has 99.9 percent of it.

You still don't want to burn both of your late inning guys in the first game of a DH if you don't have to.

Agree. The coaching staff does not pull names out of a hat. They go into games with several plans on the relievers based on the opponent, score as well as the previous workload of the past few games. The bullpen coach and pitching coach give the manager the proposed bullpen rotation for each game.

It is the situations he puts them in most of the time

Right. Trust me I'm not happy about how poorly Albers and Duke pitched. They failed to execute. But a manager is supposed to put his players in a position to succeed. Having Duke try to go 2 innings when he usually pitches to 1 or 2 hitters is not putting him in a position to succeed. Putting Albers into a situation where he has 2 runners in scoring position is not putting him in a position to succeed.
