ScootsMcGoots
This game should be tied. Let's see if the Sox have any bite left in them.
caulfield12
That's like blaming the coaching staff for Javy and Swisher. Everyone knew those guys could be difficult, same with Shark. Too many other dumb moves like Bonifacio...Keppinger. Odds that 4th run scoring there doesn't hurt the Sox? McAllister up and throwing.

Then, he'll put it together and cream one to LF.

Harry Chappas
If the catcher gets hurt in the top of the 9th who is going to catch the rest of the game? I would use green if it were a joke but he never pinch hits for the catcher. He has not gotten any better in four years of being a manager. ScootsMcGoots
The White Sox are amazing at raising people's hopes and then just crushing them to the ground

Keeping Jennings in against Gomes and then after he gets a hit he pulled him. Also anytime we are down 1 or more we don't use Jones or Duke. Bigsoxhurt35
QUOTE (fathom @ May 25, 2016 -> 03:57 PM) Just getting absolutely no production from the catchers over the last few weeks. We know what Avila is. BB or out. That's about it. Navarro hasn't been as good offensively. Imagine that a new sox hitter who suddenly can't hit here

I was going to say there should be a PH for Navarro, but who? Saladino, Sands and Avila is what's on the bench. Not exactly the Cardinals bench. fathom
QUOTE (elrockinMT @ May 25, 2016 -> 10:00 PM) That 4TH Run was one of those just BY INCHES that might be the difference. Just a shame You mean if god forbid a Sox player makes a tough play defensively with 2 outs? So many of the 2 out runs allowed of late could have been prevented if the defense came up big: - Jackson should have caught Desmond's 2 out triple - Jackson was close to Napoli's 2 out triple - Eaton was close to Chisenhall's 2 out triple Edited May 25, 2016 by fathom

greg775
Rodon, Latos and our No. 5 guy open the Royals series in Kauffman? Yikes. Hate to tell ya to run to your bookie but this screams 0-3 before we try to salvage with Sale on Sunday. I do like Rodon but he's not quite ready for prime time. He'll allow one run in six innings then all hell will break loose with our pen Thursday. Edited May 25, 2016 by greg775
