Because Richard is always bumbling in Silicon Valley it has an adverse effect on the Sox chances today.

Richard=Chris Sale when flustered (or vice-versa).

The only way to counteract this is with a Gavin Belson GIF/gfycat.

Or naming Monica manager of the White Sox. Or the patented Pied Piper algorithm managing our bullpen from here on out.

Good (or bad news) again...considering how the more good players KC loses, the better they seem to play recently.

Sal Perez has a quad contusion and may or may not go on the DL. No structural damage to the knee.

That means Drew Butera at catcher. Chris Young is back, but has been inserted into the long-man role out of the bullpen for now.

That leaves Hosmer, Cain and a struggling Kendrys Morales (561 OPS makes Rollins look like a Silver Slugger) as the lone non-AAA players in the line-up. And Morales has a bad finger, so it wouldn't be surprising to see him on the bench as well against Sale.

So Sale only has to get Hosmer and Cain...sounds easy enough, right?

You are next, to prove that this season truly has gone s*** show

I'm staying out of all this. I'm already the reason for my own failures. Not accepting responsibility for others.

Just curious when was the last time the whitesox blew a 6 run lead in theb 9th Inning to actually LOSE the game in that inning (not just being tied, but to actually lose).

I can say in 30 years of watching the whitesox I have never seen them blow a 6 run lead in the ninth and actually lose it as they did yesterday.

The first rally finger fixed the offense, hopefully this one does wonders for the bullpen!

Seems like Eaton has been slumping badly lately. He's mostly hitting grounders to the right side and K' ing. As Eaton goes so go the Sox . Have anyone noticed Abreu had nothing to do with the runs the Sox have scored the last 2 days ? I wonder if a defensive replacement for Abreu yesterday like Loney comes up with that GW hit yesterday. Just a passing thought , don't crucify me.

I can say in 30 years of watching the whitesox I have never seen them blow a 6 run lead in the ninth and actually lose it as they did yesterday.

Try this one:

April 5, 2004 - New Manager Ozzie Guillen figured he had his debut game all wrapped up as the Sox took a 7-3 lead into the ninth inning at Kansas City. 20 minutes later the Royals scored six runs to take the game 9-7. The amazing rally set the modern record for the most runs scored in the ninth inning to win a game on opening day.

Not a six run lead but considering everything, pretty close.

And I'll be very curious to see how Sale reacts in this one.

He's told the media when the pressure is on sometimes he overthrows and bad things happen.

After the farce's the last two games, given how this team has fallin apart the last three weeks, it's safe to say the pressure is on.

The Sox haven't been swept this year, and Sale is going for his 10th win...what could go wrong?

That alone could create a 30 page thread. My optimism is totally gone unless Sale pitches but even Robin can find a way to turn that into a loss.
