Chicago White Sox
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 29, 2016 -> 01:38 PM) Now the question is whether the White Sox offense can get anything at all going against Volquez?? Because those were two great plays in one inning...sandwiching a pretty poor one by Abreu. Sale as a starter against KC..., .277 BAA, against the rest of the AL as a starter (even MN), only .218. Have won the season series every year from 2011-2015. Saladino, btw, with a great relay throw to get the runner at 1st. He has to be on that field instead of Rollins just for the sake of his defensive superiority. How was the Abreu play a poor one?
Chicago White Sox
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 29, 2016 -> 01:41 PM) Abreu now 2/16 on the season against KC. And of course the Orioles are blowing their 4-0 lead against CLE as well. 4-3. Great! Caulfield, can you please stop with all the negative little tid-bits? How about something positive for a change? I'd like a reason for optimism.
caulfield12
Nice aggressive baserunning by Abreu on the bleeding single up the middle...not hit that well into CF and Jose read it well to get to 3B.

caulfield12
QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ May 29, 2016 -> 12:41 PM) How was the Abreu play a poor one? Very simple. That dugout has a very distinctive corner. He took an angle straight into the corner and caught his hip on it. If he rounded it, basically reading it off the bat right away and just put his head down and got over there a bit faster instead of drifting with the ball into the dugout railing, it would have been a MUCH easier play. 2-1 Royals. Lawrie into third, need to tie this game, at the very least.
caulfield12
Volquez falling asleep and Navarro steals one on the pitcher to stay out of the DP situation there. Onus now on Garcia to drive at least one run in.

caulfield12
Lovely situational hitting there, Garcia. Wasn't even close to a strike. Impossible for anyone but Vladimir Guerrero to hit that one.
Chicago White Sox
The Royals f***ing suck. Of all the good BBQ in KC, they have Sweet Baby Ray's as a home plate advertiser. They don't deserve to win this game if the baseball gods know what's right.

harkness99
problem is Avi had to take a strike for Navarro to reach 2nd. This team is so mentally fragile that even that little thing kills them.
