A part of me wishes Anderson was able to transition into a CF. I feel confident in Saladino becoming a league average SS.

Me too, a move to the outfield (LF/CF) would allow him to just focus on his bat.

Btw, thanks for the extended ST video. How tall is Reyes

When he signed he was listed at 6-4, BA has Tatis Jr. at 6'3 and Reyes looks a few inches taller.

In a perfect world with their current roster, Anderson could be like Chone Figgins and play everywhere around the diamond.

But it's extremely scary to move him around and not let Tim get 100% comfortable at SS. Theoretically, he should be able to play 2B, but then that means you're giving up on Lawrie.

Maybe you rotate them at DH. Kind of a tough situation when you're trying to compete but also develop your 2017 team simultaneously.

It would be a shame to see them convert him to CF before we find out how he would do at the MLB level playing SS. 98-99% sure they won't move him off SS, though stranger things have happened with Sox prospects.

I think the Sox are going to give Tim Anderson every opportunity to stick at short stop this season before they think about moving him off the position.
