Bigsoxhurt35
Tim will struggle for awhile then will get going. I'm fully expecting that
footlongcomiskeydog
QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Jun 13, 2016 -> 07:28 PM) Tim will struggle for awhile then will get going. I'm fully expecting that Anderson isn't ready for the show. He should still be down in Charlotte.
Condor13
I'm trying to remain optimistic about the rest of this game. If the pitching can keep the Tigers to no more than 1 more run I'd be happy and then it's up to the offense to score some damn runs for once. BigHurt3515
QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jun 13, 2016 -> 07:28 PM) Well, we knew Anderson's plate discipline was an issue But he took the first 3 balls nicely. The whole line up swings at ball 4 all the time except Avila

Jose Abreu
At least abreu came around lately. We just need Eaton back on track too. We won't succeed if one of Eaton/Abreu/Frazier is struggling at a given moment

footlongcomiskeydog
QUOTE (soxfan85 @ Jun 13, 2016 -> 07:32 PM) How many runs with Shields give up this inning? 2! Walk and a blast.
Condor13
QUOTE (Footlongcomiskeydog @ Jun 13, 2016 -> 08:30 PM) Anderson isn't ready for the show. He should still be down in Charlotte. About the dumbest thing I've read a long time. You might as well say Eaton, Abreu, Frazier, Lawrie, Garcia, Navaro, Coats, and Schuck are all not ready for the show and should still be in the minors. elrockinMT
Four easy ground balls with one being a squibbet for a hit. Anderson as the lead off hitter needs ductwork a walk when offered to him
Chicago White Sox
The good news is all the scouts in attendance tonight will see how good of a defender Avi is. Definitely better off DHing Coats for that reason.
Condor13
OMG why did he not just run to the wall and then try and catch that. Now a hit comes after what should have been an out.
daggins
Anderson really isn't ready though. And half of those guys aren't MLB caliber hitters, they're just eating a roster spot, so even your hyperbole is wrong.
Bigsoxhurt35
Shields isn't close with his pitches. Just DL the motherf***er

Chicago White Sox
I actually feel bad for Robin tonight, nothing he can do about this nonsense.
maxjusttyped
Interesting, but probably nothing. BarstoolWSD (guy who broke the Shields trade) has a hunch Ventura could be fired after tonight's game. https://twitter.com/barstoolWSD/status/742515982418071553
fathom
This is unreal. On what planet did the front office think Shields would pitch well here

Dick Allen
Clearly Robin was a fool for starting Avila Shields' first start.he is very familiar with Navarro, and tonight's results prove it.
