Can Saladino play right field? I'd love to get him some more at bats. Right field?

Why not. Smart, can move, plays hard and I think he'll hit fine for an IF. (which is good enough for OF on this team).

Was just about to ask if he could possibly play center. Start having him shag fly balls during batting practice!

In all seriousness though, I could see him start preparing for some outfield time in the off-season.

Pitch trax on my phone shows the 1-0 to Anderson literally right in the center of the strike zone and called a ball?

Gameday showed the exact same thing. A gift from the umpire?

The Sox would be better off trading for a CF, rather than a DH/1B/RF-type. Melky can DH. Even when Ajax returns, he's unlikley to contribute much offensively.

What the hell is a FUBAR?

Military term, at least that's where I first heard it.

Detroit did what good teams do tonight. They responded to yesterday's choke job with a lotta runs and some fight. You know how the Sox responded to the Texas disaster ...

Uh they actually have a good lineup. Easy to do when you have that group of hitters.

But his defense is too good to stick at DH and he is the defensive replacement for everyone in the infield. You can't DH that

Well, when he isn't subbing, which will be most nights, he can DH.

Why would you DH your second best defensive player

To get his bat in the lineup? Not like he comes in late in games as a defensive sub for anyone. And then just call up someone like Garcia to be on the bench just incase.
