Bob Sacamano
QUOTE (Black_Jack29 @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 09:49 PM) Shuck should be playing RF until Ajax returns (or until we trade for a better option) and Avi should be DHing. Yeah, I know that it's frustrating seeing Shuck and Coats in the lineup so often, but that's what happens when injuries occur and your GM has traded away your only ML-ready young outfielder. DHing Saladino is the last thing that the Sox should be doing. Rotating infield idea then.
caulfield12
So much for that inning. Avi's never going to be a good basestealer...just takes way too long to get to full acceleration.
pettie4sox
Just send Avi down, admit your mistakes and pray he can turn it around playing everyday.
Feeky Magee
Weekly reminder that Kenny Williams said in spring training 2016 that Avi could steal 30 bases in a season. He is 1 for 3 in SB attempts halfway through June.
reiks12
Shuck looked like a clown on that swing my goodness
SoCalSox
LOL. Could have been runners on first & second with one out if Shuck would have a better eye. Somehow ends up in a strike 'em out throw 'em out. Oops. Doesn't look to be in the cards tonight.
caulfield12
Ynoa at 93-94. Now 95. Edited June 15, 2016 by caulfield12
Bob Sacamano
I'm so glad they're saying his name correctly. Hearing "ya-know-uh" would start to get cringeworthy. Edited June 15, 2016 by soxfan2014
Black_Jack29
QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 09:50 PM) Rotating infield idea then. You seem to think that Saladino is an offensive upgrade over Shuck, and he's really not.

caulfield12
Greg, excellent job jinxing the Royals. Kudos, I now own all the houses in Cleveland, Flint and Detroit that were underwater.
caulfield12
Ynoa for starter, lol...got up to 96 MPH. Has thrown just a couple of sliders. Or Purke. ANYONE...

caulfield12
QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 08:54 PM) Ugh don't remind me lol More athletic Miggy Cabrera. 30/30 potential, could play CF in a pinch, etc. Hyperbole from Williams sometimes outdoes the best Buddy Bell can come up with. Obviously, Ynoa has to keep batters honest with that slider. Get them off the FB. 10 MPH pitch speed differential will play. How good is that slider? caulfield12
Well, it wouldn't be a Ynoa outing without a walk somewhere in there for good measure. Edited June 15, 2016 by caulfield12

caulfield12
Whichever team in the AL Central can add one more quality starting pitcher (KC/DET) and/or a big bat (KC/CLE) wins the AL Central. A lot depends on how well Michael Brantley and Gordon come back from injuries as well. Daniel Norris is the X-factor for the Tigers.
