Keep going after sluggers, Sox. Never fails.

Oop another K for Todd. 64 now to go along with his .198 average.

So when do you fire Ventura? I'm serious when?

If Fathers Day is part of the equation, they may not be there to fire him. Maybe Monday in Boston, or Friday morning in Chicago.

Ventura announcing Shields will start again "He's gonna figure it out."

What an inspiring manager.

On Frazier's struggles. "He's gotta grind it out."

On the team's struggles: "We just gotta get out there."

Another Vince Lombardi, am I right, folks?

I still can't lump Frazier with the Adams. And I don't think the NL/AL thing matters. The Sox just suck, and they bring out the suck in a lot of players. Anderson is next. Wait a month.

For the Sox it's beyond obvious.

What is he supposed to say? How can he make veterans like Frazier hit better or pitcher's like Shields do better? What want to know is if we were sold damaged goods with Shields?

If Shields was damaged goods, wouldn't it have been incumbent on Hahn and the medical staff to look very closely over his last MRI or request a new one?

Especially when he's in his mid 30's and has already pitched 9 consecutive years with 200+ innings.

What's the limit of days with "no take backs"? As soon as you let him pitch in a game, he's yours?

We saw a perhaps similar situation with Sirotka/David Wells before 2001, if that's what turns out to be the case.

We're the patsies of the Central. Sox are officially a clown team. They've been the worst team in baseball for over a month now. They're not going anywhere.

Time to start a huge rebuild/reload. No need to fire Robin now but work on a manager for next season while trading off everybody except Sale and Quintana and Abreu, same scenario as after last season. Trade everybody you can besides those 3.

If you're going to rebuild, you trade Sale, Quintana, and Abreu.

Ventura puts me too sleep when he talks... and his team has played for 4 years like they are asleep.

It's not all on him though by any means. It's a bunch of clueless individuals from the very top to the bottom.
