flavum
QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Jun 20, 2016 -> 03:11 PM) This team has become so irrelevant unless you're into torture. Won't watch a game until Ventura is gone.
caulfield12
I have to watch just to see Coats suddenly certified as being able to play CF when all along he's been a corner OF. This is going to be like Jermaine Dye in center. Also, Shields/Porcello is Thursday, not tmrw. Is Thursday an afternoon or night game?
fathom
Last time, the knuckler messed up Frazier's timing for a week. Maybe it can be the reverse this time.
Condor13
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 20, 2016 -> 04:28 PM) Last time, the knuckler messed up Frazier's timing for a week. Maybe it can be the reverse this time. Facing Weaver helped Frazier get his timing back, so I could see how facing a knuckleballer could help him
bmags
I kinda feel like Anderson will be good against a knuckler since he has such a quick bat it can adjust late.
Tnetennba
If I read Baseball Reference correctly, Coats has played CF in 43 of his 444 some odd minor league games. Makes perfect sense. #RobinLogic

Makes perfect sense. #RobinLogic The lineup is wrong. Eaton is in CF with Coats in RF

Bob Sacamano
QUOTE (CB2.0 @ Jun 20, 2016 -> 03:08 PM) Is the Avi "showcase" done for good, then? Also, what is the over/under on a first inning bunt? lol. I read the box score this morning in the paper and was mad they bunted in that situation. Hate bunting there with a guy on second with blazing speed and can score from second on a single. Maybe Eaton smacks a single, maybe he hits one down the line and is then on base for Abreu's double. SCCWS
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 20, 2016 -> 04:28 PM) I have to watch just to see Coats suddenly certified as being able to play CF when all along he's been a corner OF. This is going to be like Jermaine Dye in center. Also, Shields/Porcello is Thursday, not tmrw. Is Thursday an afternoon or night game? LF and CF are very difficlut to play in Boston because of the angles and the wall. RF is a bad sun field. Coats may earn his stripes this series. GreenSox
Still no Saladino. Hasn't played in a week. I guess he can't fit him amidst his .220 veterans. Go get 'em Ventura!
caulfield12
Abreu #12 in the majors in terms of swinging at pitches outside of the strike zone. 43%. Only 3 k's in his last 42 plate appearances against RHP. E-5, should have been a tailor-made double play ball. White Sox have to take advantage here. HAVE TO.
