Chicago White Sox
The next two games are must wins. Get back to .500 and hope that Shields pulls out a miracle on Thursday. Also, would be nice if Hahn could find a bat soon. Can't keep scoring one run in 9 innings and hope to win. Y2Jimmy0
This Boston team has no pitching. Surprised that they are 39-30 actually.
LittleHurt05
QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jun 21, 2016 -> 08:11 AM) This Boston team has no pitching. Surprised that they are 39-30 actually. When you average over 5.5 runs/game, winning is a bit easier with mediocre pitching.
he gone.
Here we go -- pull out an improbable win last night, Sale on the mound tonight and all of a sudden they pull me back in again. Time for us to lose a heartbreaker tonight.

Jose Abreu
Last year, our big winning streak ended in Boston with Sale getting destroyed on the mound. This year, our incredible one-game winning streak will CONTINUE and Sale will be much better!

Obviously he is not a long term solution, but I wouldn't mind throwing him out there and seeing how he does right now. Seems to fit the roster better than Coats at this given moment. GreenSox
Still no Saladino. He's now 5th infielder. He's so out of here in the next Hahn trade for a dogmeat veteran.

SCCWS
Hopefully White Sox send Buchholz back to a bullpen role. Remember, if he does struggle, Red Sox will be more desperate to go out and get a starter.

He could play over Lawrie or Frazier from time to time. Neither of those 2 are hitting. Either could use a rest. Not everyday; but sitting him for a week is ridiculous. CWSpalehoseCWS
QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jun 21, 2016 -> 04:21 PM) Once in a while, DH Abreu, 1B Frazier, 3B Saladino That leaves you without a viable infielder on the bench. If the Sox would stop carrying 5 OF's I'd agree that would be a logical thing to pull.
GreenSox
QUOTE (CWSpalehoseCWS @ Jun 21, 2016 -> 05:24 PM) That leaves you without a viable infielder on the bench. If the Sox would stop carrying 5 OF's I'd agree that would be a logical thing to pull. Well, there's no reason Lawrie can't sit once or twice a week; he's the extra infielder when he does. Neither Coats nor Shuck can hit and neither is particularly good defensively. Heck bring up Leury...he's hitting well in AAA, and Coats (.294 OPS)/Schuck (.496 OPS) are hitting at about what Leury hit in his ML stint. Leury can play IF and OF. If Rick Hahn GMd the Giants, he'd have jettisoned Brandon Crawford years ago in favor of a proven .690 OPS veteran infielder.
