Would love to run this back next year with the same team with a different coach and have the exact same results. But agreed f*** Hoiberg cause reasons.

You make a valid argument as to why he doesn't suck

It is worth at least questioning why they couldn't gel consistently in the regular season...why they had to wait until their backs were against the wall to finally come together as a team?

Some of that has to do with the coaching staff, but, then again...perhaps only a few veteran coaches with a lot more experience in the league than Hoiberg (not playing-wise) could have gotten Wade, Butler and Rondo all on the same page much earlier, right?

So the question isn't so much about Hoiberg not doing it, but who realistically would have been able to turn the Bulls into a 3-5 seed team during the regular season without burning out the team as Thibs frequently did just getting to the 82nd game?

If we are up 2-0 and still manages to lose 4-2 in the first round, there should be pressure fire Gar or Garpax as if we had missed playoffs. Rondo or not, last two games were embarrassing and really displayed the flaws of the roster outside of Butler.

I think Jerian Grant could be a decent backup point guard but this team especially has seen what happens to backup point guards getting overexposed in the playoffs. We just have a crap ton of really bad guards. That was the thing with the regular season bulls: really really terrible guard play.

Add MCW to the list. You can tell Wade and Butler hate playing with him.

I still find it hard to believe that Valentine isn't a better option. At least he can hit some threes. He'll spread the floor for others.

MCW is awful. He can play D (at times), but he is so worthless offensively, in fact, he's worse then that because he has no idea how to pass and takes awful shot after awful shot (and he can't shoot to begin with). I've said for a long time..I'd love to see this team with a really good point guard (or even a good PG). Our PG's (outside of Rondo) are absolutely brutal...like worse in the league (and they make Rondo look much better then he is at this age).

It's unlikely the Bulls win another game this series. The first 2 games were an aberration. GARPAX aren't going anywhere. They'll put a positive spin on everything once the season is over. You know how it was good for Fred and their young guys to get some playoff experience, and how Bobby Portis proved he's a good piece to have moving forward. DAT GM TALK.

I really hope WADE isn't back next season. (plz don't bring back DROSE either RUH ROH)

If we want to win without Rondo, we need Canaan to start at PG, with the backup PG minutes being split between Wade/Butler (which would, in turn, just give Zipser more burn at SF).

We also need to attack IT when he's on defense. It's inexcusable that he played the final ~16 minutes with 4 fouls and we only posted up on him a handful of times.
