Boogua
QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jun 29, 2016 -> 11:23 PM) I can't believe i'm gonna pull for the Knicks next year. I'm kind of in the same boat, which is nuts. I'm going to be rooting so hard for the twolves and any former Bulls next year because I despise garpax so much. bmags
QUOTE (Tony @ Jun 30, 2016 -> 12:43 AM) It's one of those weird instances where we would have all be fairly upset if the Bulls brought him back for anything more than a one year deal, but once you hear he is leaving, it's tough to take. Going to miss Jo. Totally this

Quin
QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 30, 2016 -> 10:11 AM) A great Chicagoan too. He and Rose both. They cared about the kids in this city, which might be what makes this sting more.

Jenksismyhero
QUOTE (Deadpool @ Jun 30, 2016 -> 08:03 AM) Hopefully the FO can avoid all the stupid contracts, but I get the feeling Gar is going to have an itchy trigger finger. All indications are they're not doing anything this year. They're setting up tons of cap room for the next two years. I think the biggest thing they'll do is resign Moore. For once, they're being smart and I applaud them. Next year is a lost year, they recognize it. Grab a lottery pick, get tons of cap space, try to grab a couple max guys. All this when, hopefully, Lebron starts his downfall. Also, with Jo getting 18 million, Lopez at 11-13 for the next few years looks like a steal. I love that trade even more now. Kyyle23
Watch the Bulls tank next year for a high pick and get a karma b****slap from getting Rose at #1 and end up in the bottom of the lottery

Pau also puts up All-Star numbers somewhere else. Because Gar angered the universe.

There's nothing Rose can do in one year to really make this Gar decision look bad and any contract longer than 2 years for Noah is going to be a bad contract (most likely)

This roster unfortunately will still be decent unless Butler goes down.

shipps
QUOTE (Deadpool @ Jun 30, 2016 -> 09:55 AM) If the Universe gave Gar his face, it really, really hates him. LOL Yes it does. I am pretty numb to the Bulls news. Last year was such a disaster that until management is gone I dont think I will have any confidence in them to consistently do the right thing no matter what happens. The fact that Gar was able to make a completely terrible hire in his buddy Fred without having an actual interview process of candidates (which would have given you a better hire) and still be the GM the next year is an absolute travesty. And he gave Fred FIVE f***ING YEARS.

I don't have a huge problem with firing Thibs if his behavior caused problems within the organization, but to replace him with that without interviewing any other candidates and committing to a college coach for 5 years is insane. Chisoxfn
QUOTE (Tony @ Jun 29, 2016 -> 09:00 PM) According to sources, looks like Jo is going to the Knicks for an average of about 18 mil. I will do nothing but cheer for Jo. I will always remember him as one of my favorite Bulls of all time. Knicks are paying a lot of money but I hope he does awesome there. I figured as soon as Rose went there that Noah was going to go home.

For example, I think if you had the worse record, you can't pick lower than like 3 or something.
