caulfield12
Never mind. Playing along with the Jarrett Jack/Ga Tech reference. Actually, Marbury's one of the most popular players in history here in China, probably #3 to Yao Ming and Kobe Bryant. Has his own museum, shoe line, official lifetime permanent residency (very rare privilege to be granted)...never thought he would mature into a "good guy" and stick it out here, most imports don't last more than 6 months. Names are fun.....names....names....names....and more names. How are they random if they all played for Ga. Tech? I guess nobody here knows they are Fathom's favorite team, apparently. How about this? One of my best friends from graduate school is Director of Scouting for the Atlanta Hawks. What do you want to know about the free agency period? Buehrle>Wood
QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jul 1, 2016 -> 07:48 AM) Hassan Whiteside is staying in Miami. For "only" 98 million. Mavs were the favorites according to Woj last night. They lost their center, again. Batum and Derozan also sign for less than a max contracts but still big mone. Mozgov will be the first contract signed and the worst one of the offseason. That said Lakers got one of the better deals in Clarkson, even with him on a scaled path. Panerista
As much as I want this free agency to be exciting, the teams that are winning this FA are the ones who do nothing or make Lin-type deals. Edited July 1, 2016 by Deadpool

Buehrle>Wood
Someone in the know told me Bulls reached out to Rondo. That surprised me. Probably just a feeler, I imagine that he'll be too expensive even if he no longer has that top 10 player hype behind him.
Chisoxfn
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jul 1, 2016 -> 10:58 AM) Someone in the know told me Bulls reached out to Rondo. That surprised me. Probably just a feeler, I imagine that he'll be too expensive even if he no longer has that top 10 player hype behind him. I think we are interested in any solid PG who would take a 1 or 2 year type deal (that keeps our cap flexibility). Rondo could use the Bulls as the right spot to actually position himself for a larger deal next year (when the cap goes up again).
Brian
Bulls signing Rondo would not be on the same level but kind of like when they signed Starks in terms of me despising a player then the Bulls signing them, and me not accepting them. Balta1701
FWIW, whoever said that when FA started we'd be looking at Lopez's deal a lot more positively, you were completely right and I apologize for doubting you.
