As great as it would be if you're right, no way. They would have to go 4-5 the rest of the way. If they do that, we still need to win 8 the rest of the way to win by half a game. f***, even if we had won one game in Minnsota....

Well, your probably right, I just think that like in most cases.... a team can get only SO hot. I mean for them to go like 4-5 and 5-4.... I wouldn't call it impossible. The Law of averages will tell you they are due for some losses.

...Eric Eckenstahler comes on to pitch for the Tigers...

- Mientkiewicz walks. Advances to second on a pass ball.

- LeCroy singles pass Pena. Mientkiewicz scores from second. 7-3 Twins.

- Koskie hit in back with the pitch. LeCroy to second.

...Anderson coming on to pitch...

Bottom 7, 7-3 Twins, 0 outs, runners on 1st and second.

Eckenstahler doesn't belong in the majors. Had trouble throwing strikes, just looked awful. Looks as if he's not even good enough to be on the Tigers.

Matt Roney pitching for the Tigers...

- Guzman gets hit by pitch in the back, has words for Roney, starts to walk towards mound, Gardenhire comes out and talks to Guzman. Roney wasn't throwing at him, just ball broke too much.

- Stewart lines to Halter, almost doubles Guzman at first.

- Rivas grounds out to Morris. Guzman to second.

- Mientkiewicz intentionally walked.

- LeCroy flies out to short right.

...Rincon warming in Twins bullpen...

Top 9, 7-3 Twins.
