If he can hit better than Avi, I'm down. Gives us flexibility with Frazier and Abreu.

Hate to say but davidson could be putting up Frazier numbers with the power and low average and be better then avi

Rick Hahn really pulling out all the stops...or putting nails in his own coffin.

Pretty difficult for Hahn not to be (especially) personally invested in Davidson's numbers, since he and Avi were once touted as key additions to the young core of pitching going forward.

Greg, did Alton from Midnight Special just mesmerize you with a blinding white light?

Coats/Shuck/Garcia deserve scorn before any is aimed at Lawrie. He's been pretty decent. He's definitely not the primary reason we're not above a .500 club.

OK get rid of Lawrie and it'll be Davidson at third, Anderson at short, Saladino at second and Frazier DH.

That's a start. Saladino and Davidson and Anderson have a fighting chance.

Yes, get rid of Lawrie. Brilliant idea. It's not like he's second in fWAR among our position players or the hottest hitter on the team right now or anything. But yes, let's get rid of him so we can play Matt Davidson and Tyler Saladino.
