caulfield12
We're also managing to up Carlos Beltran's trade value, haha. All-Star Carlos Beltran, future HoF, etc. 20 hits. Not easy to give up that many.

greg775
That game was ridiculous. Pity the people in the stands who were not Yankee fans. Pathetic and disgusting effort.
ChiSoxFanMike
The momentum totally changed when that mental midget known as Avisail Garcia struck out with men on 2nd and 3rd with only 1 out in the 2nd inning. He needs to be shipped to Charlotte ASAP. He's done.

caulfield12
The White Sox almost signed that meatball throwing pitcher for $125 million two years ago....how soon they forget. He's got a very solid ERA. Sometimes, movement and location are MUCH more important than velocity. The Yankees should know, Eovaldi and Pineda both can throw hard but no idea where it's going usually. Edited July 6, 2016 by caulfield12

caulfield12
Tanaka, fwiw, is mostly known for his sinker. And movement. He's never been a high high velocity pitcher. It's one of the main reasons teams were scared off. They wanted another Darvish. There was concern that somehow 93ish would go to low 90's/high 80's (and it did, when he was really scuffling with all those elbow problems). But he's managed to be surprisingly (and quietly) effective when healthy. Doesn't blow your socks off like the Mets' staff, that's for sure. But you can say the same thing for the way Sabathia pitches today, compared to 2007.
